<p>The concept of a neutrosophic set, which is a generalization of an intuitionistic fuzzy set and a para consistent set etc., was introduced by F. Smarandache. Since then, it has been studied in various applications. In considering a generalization of the neutrosophic set, Mohseni Takallo et al. used the interval valued fuzzy set as the indeterminate membership function because interval valued fuzzy set is a generalization of a fuzzy set, and introduced the notion of MBJ-neutrosophic sets, and then they applied it to BCK/BCI-algebras. The aim of this paper is to apply the concept of MBJ-neutrosophic sets to a $ BE $-algebra, which is a generalization of a BCK-algebra. The notions of MBJ-neutrosophic subalgebras and MBJ-neutrosophic filters of $ BE $-algebras are introduced and related properties are investigated. The conditions under which the MBJ-neutrosophic set can be a MBJ-neutrosophic subalgebra/filter are searched. Characterizations of MBJ-neutrosophic subalgebras and MBJ-neutrosophic filters are considered. The relationship between an MBJ-neutrosophic subalgebra and an MBJ-neutrosophic filter is established.</p>

This study aims to analysis peak load prediction of Indonesian national holidays for Jawa-Bali electricity system. Forecasting applied using the Fuzzy Logic System (FLS) method combined with the Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA). CSA is used to determine the optimal membership function in fuzzy logic. Cuckoo search algorithm has a very good performance in terms of optimization. This method is applied for short-term load estimates on holidays/special days on the Jawa-Bali electricity system, Indonesia. The study used data from daily peak loads during Indonesian national holidays in 2014 on the Jawa-Bali electricity system. The data analyzed is the daily peak load documentation data for 4 days before national holidays and during national holidays in 2014. Testing the simulation results, it was found that the Fuzzy Logic System - Cuckoo Search Algorithm (FLS-CSA) method gives good forecasting results, this is evidenced by using the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). Forecasting results using the Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) optimization method on fuzzy logic membership functions for peak loads on national holidays on the Java-Bali 500kV electrical system give satisfactory results with an average forecasting error of 1.511314562%.

Choosing a major is not an easy matter. There are many factors that must be taken into account and carefully thought out so that in choosing a major, it will cause big losses. There are many ways to determine the selection of majors, one of which is by using fuzzy logic. Determination of majors is determined from the results of the selection test in the academic field with the subjects of Mathematics, English and Computer Knowledge. With the aim of recommending the selection of the right major according to academic abilities and improving quality. By using the fuzzy inference model Mamdani max-min method. The system simulation was tried using the MATLAB Fuzzy Toolbox software. The system design is carried out in several stages, namely: (1) formation of fuzzy sets, (2) formation of rules, (3) determination of the composition of rules, and (4) confirmation (defuzzification). Defuzzification is carried out using the Composite Moment method, with the types of membership functions used are mf-triangular, mf-trapezoid and mf-gaussian. From the results of the tests carried out, it shows that the mf-triangular and mf-trapezoid membership function types produce almost the same level of accuracy. While the membership function type mf-gaussian produces a high level of accuracy for mathematics by 87.50%, English 100% and computer knowledge 81.58%.

Abstract Welding operation decides the quality of product standards in all metal work products like automobiles, aerospace vehicles, and many more. The quality of the welding process is more reliable by automating the process with robots. In this research work, the GMAW operation is automated with the “Fanuc Robot Arc mate 100iC/12” robot. The material characteristics such as ultimate tensile strength, hardness, and impact strength of weldments are predicted using a fuzzy system using triangular membership function (TrMF) and trapezoidal membership function (TMF). The simulated results are validated by comparing with experimental work, the experiments are designed using orthogonal array L18, and material characteristics are studied using fractography test. The fuzzy system is trained with experimental results using the IF-Then rule base with the help of the L18 orthogonal array. The inference system has predicted the accuracy rate of weldment mechanical properties, showing a lower error rate.

The purpose of a shop enhancing customer satisfaction is to raise its total revenue as the rate of customer purchases in the shop increases. Some studies have pointed out that the amount of customer arrival at a shop is a Poisson process. A simple and easy-to-use evaluation index proposed for the Poisson process with the attribute characteristic will help various shops evaluate their business performance. In addition, developing an excellent and practical service performance evaluation method will be beneficial to the advancement of shop service quality as well as corporate image, thereby increasing the profitability and competitiveness of the shop. As the surroundings of the internet of things (IoT) are becoming gradually common and mature, various commercial data measurement and collection technologies are constantly being refined to form a huge amount of production data. Efficient data analysis and application can assist enterprises in making wise and efficient decisions within a short time. Thus, following the simple and easy-to-use principle, this paper proposes an attribute service performance index based on a Poisson process. Since the index had unknown parameters, this paper subsequently figured out the best estimator and used the central limit theorem to derive the confidence interval of the service efficiency index based on random samples. Then, we constructed the membership function based on the α-cuts of the triangular shaped fuzzy number. Finally, we came up with a fuzzy testing model based on the membership function to improve the accuracy of the test when the sample size is small in order to meet enterprises’ needs for quick responses as well as reducing the evaluation cost.

Abstract Multi-objective Solid Transportation Problem (MSTP) is known as a special class of vector-minimization (or maximization) problems and has three parameters: source, destination, and conveyance. The objectives such as transportation cost, transportation time, transportation safety level, and objectives in terms of environmental and social issues are generally in conflict with each other. In this paper, we present a fuzzy approach to bring these conflicting objectives together as high as possible. Instead of using the linear membership function, which is frequently used in the literature for ease of use, we use the hyperbolic membership function in our approach. Also, while most of the papers in the literature deal with the standard equality constrained form of MSTP, the mixed constrained form is addressed in this paper. Finally, a numerical example from the literature is used to illustrate the construction of the hyperbolic membership function and how well it represents the objective functions’ degree of satisfaction.
