This paper establishes one common coincident point theorem and three unique common fixed point theorems for four self-maps inD-metric spaces, which improve and generalize, significantly, the results of Dhage et al. (2003), Dhage (1999), and Rhoades (2003) under weaker assumption using a more general contractive condition. An example, in support of these theorems, has also been constructed. All the results of this paper are new.

The objective of this paper is to emphasize the role of “common limit range property” to ascertain the existence of common fixed point in fuzzy metric spaces. Some illustrative examples are furnished which demonstrate the validity of the hypotheses and degree of utility of our results. We derive a fixed point theorem for four finite families of self-mappings which can be utilized to derive common fixed point theorems involving any finite number of mappings. As an application to our main result, we prove an integral-type fixed point theorem in fuzzy metric space. Our results improve and extend a host of previously known results including the ones contained in Imdad et al. (2012).

In this paper we have used the concept of bi-metric space and intoduced the concept of bi-b-metric space. our objective is to obtain the common fixed point theorems for two mappings on two different b-metric spaces induced on same set X. In this paper we prove that on the set X two b-metrics are defined to form two different b-metric spaces and the two mappings defined on X have unique common fixed point.

In the present work, we study many fixed point results in intuitionistic generalized fuzzy cone metric space. Precisely, we prove new common fixed point theorems for three self mappings that do not require any commutativity or continuity but a generalized contractive condition. Our results are generalizations for many results in the literature. Some examples are given to support these results.

We introduce the concept of the generalized -contraction mappings and establish the existence of fixed point theorem for such mappings by using the properties of -distance and -admissible mappings. We also apply our result to coincidence point and common fixed point theorems in metric spaces. Further, the fixed point theorems endowed with an arbitrary binary relation are also derived from our results. Our results generalize the result of Kutbi, 2013, and several results in the literature.

Abstract The main purpose of this paper is to establish some common fixed point theorems for single and set-valued maps in complete metric spaces, under contractive conditions by using minimal type commutativity and without continuity. These theorems generalize, extend and improve the result due to Elamrani and Mehdaoui ([2]) and others. Also, common fixed point theorems in metric spaces under strict contractive conditions are given.

In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for a quadruple of mappings by using an implicit relation [6] and property (E.A) [1] under weak compatibility. Our theorem improves and generalizes the main Theorems of Popa [6] and Aamri and Moutawakil [1] .Various examples verify the importance of weak compatibility and property (E.A) in the existence of common fixed point and examples are also given to the implicit relation and to validate our main Theorem. We also show that property (E.A) and Meir-Keeler type contractive condition are independent to each other. .
