The difficulties encountered in implementing variable schedules of reinforcement were presented and discussed. Procedures then were given and described for constructing instruments that are designed to help teachers deliver variable ratio, variable interval, and variable DRO schedules of reinforcement accurately and pragmatically. A step by step description of the instruments and their use was given and described.
