The authors describe the design of a decision support system, which allows automating the works on extracting information from the survey results. The generalization of modern publications had confirmed the relevance of the primary purpose of the paper. The domain analysis determined what tasks the decision support system should solve. The results of domain analysis became the base for the requirements specification. Logical and process views represent the system architecture design. A denormalized data structure, which accelerates the acquisition of aggregated data in different dimensions, is developed. The system design provides the work with various data sources as well as incremental development of the decision support system.

In this study, image theory and work domain analysis were used to develop an interactive decision support system for sortie generation tasks in an Air Force aircraft maintenance unit. Aircraft maintenance personnel were charged with creating a short list of aircraft for deployment using either maintenance information alone or maintenance information with the interactive decision support system. Results were compared with a deployment list developed by expert aircraft maintenance superintendents. The deployment lists generated with the interactive decision support system more closely resembled the experts' list and took less time to create than those generated using maintenance information alone. These results show the viability of the methodology outlined in this study for creating decision support systems in complex logistics planning.

The purpose of this study is to develop a decision support system to support supplier selection process in PT Guna Elektro and also to develop a system that could provide alternatives to the selection of the best suppliers. The methodologies used in this study are analysis, design, and literature study. Analysis will be done by conducting a survey about the current company system, conducting interviews with system users, and then analyzing the survey results. The literature study is conducted by searching reference sources related to the study while the design is conducted by designing a data management subsystem, model, knowledge base, and user interface. The result on the development of the decision support system application can be used to select the most appropriate supplier which are suitable with the criteria required. The developed decision support system helps support the decision making process for supplier selection.

Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) adalah salah satu penggerak perekonomian suatu daerah, termasuk Kota Sorong. UKM di Kota Sorong belum berkembang secara optimal. Ada beberapa penyebab diantaranya adalah mengenai finansial, lokasi, bahan baku dan lain-lain. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalah tersebut peneliti terdorong untuk melakukan pengembangan Aplikasi yang dapat membantu menentukan prioritas UKM yang sesuai dengan kondisi pelaku usaha. Pada penelitian ini akan digunakan metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP), untuk pengambilan keputusannya. Metode AHP dipilih karena mampu menyeleksi dan menentukan alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif yang tersedia. Dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu UKM terbaik yang dapat dipilih oleh pelaku usaha sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mencari nilai bobot untuk setiap atribut, kemudian dilakukan proses perankingan yang akan menentukan alternatif yang optimal, yaitu UKM. Aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan yang dikembangkan berbasis Android, dimana pengguna akan mudah menggunakannya sewaktu-waktu jika terjadi perubahan bobot pada kriteria atau intensitas.  Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa metode AHP berhasil diterapkan pada Aplikasi Penentuan Prioritas Pengembangan UKM.
