The objective of this paper is to show the use of a global Scheduling Strategy based on the analysis of a Real-Time Distributed System. The use of a Networked Controlled System as a case study shows that the performance of the system depends not only on the sampling periods of its individual components, but also on the time dispersion amongst these periods. It is also shown that it is possible to have a schedulable but unstable RTDS.

For design of a class of stream cipher algorithm reconfigurable coprocessor, it is necessary to realize efficient and flexible distribution between the initial chaos source generator and nonlinear transformation unit. From the analysis, it can be seen that the data distribution should have any data extraction and repeatable permutation characteristics. In this paper, design of data distribution network’s main circuit based on Inverse Butterfly network and Crossbar network is presented. And an algorithm of control information generation is given. By analysis and comparison with other realization ways, this design can save 16% hardware resources.

Purpose To provide an overview of communication characteristics exhibited by individuals with Angelman Syndrome (AS) and special considerations associated with the design and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) programs. Method Results of recent studies exploring individuals' uses of AAC are reviewed, with particular emphasis on factors related to individuals' acceptance and successful uses of AAC systems. Results Not applicable Conclusion Despite their inconsistent access to practices previously found to foster individuals' acceptance of AAC systems, individuals with AS demonstrate the ability to use AAC systems, including high-tech AAC devices, successfully.
