A new nemourid species, Protonemura longispina sp. nov. from Sichuan Province of southwestern China is described. The outer lobe of the paraprocts with numerous long spines and the basal portion divided into two lobes, distinguishes the new species from all congeners. New images of three other species, P. bidigitata Du & Wang, P. biintrans Li & Yang, and P. macrodactyla Du & Zhou are given. Additionally, a key to the adult males of Protonemura known from China is provided.

The Cyana dohertyi (Elwes, 1890) species-group was erected by Volynkin et al. (2017) and characterized in details by Volynkin et al. (2019). The group is most diverse in mainland China and northern Indochina and comprises 16 valid species and two subspecies (Volynkin et al. 2019; Singh et al. 2020). During a lepidopterological expedition to the northwestern part of China’s Sichuan Province in June and July of 2019, a series of specimens of both sexes of an unidentified Cyana species was collected. The species is closely related to Cyana abiens Fang, 1992 known from the Chinese Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces. However, the specimens collected in Sichuan and C. abiens have conspicuous external and genital differences and the Sichuan population represents another species, which is described below as new.

A new species of the chloroperlid genus Suwallia Ricker, 1943, S. jihuae sp. nov. from Sichuan Province of southwestern China is described, illustrated and compared with similar taxa. The male of the new species is distinguished from other known Chinese Suwallia species by the H-shaped sclerite on tergum 10. The distribution and taxonomy of the males of the five-known species of Suwallia from China are reviewed. A key to the adult males known from China is provided.

Flavoperla basomarginata sp. nov. is described and illustrated as a new species of the genus Flavoperla Chu, 1929 from Sichuan Province of southwestern China. The new species is characterized by the male having an unpigmented head, a “butterfly-shaped” epiproct sclerite, a boot-shaped hammer in lateral view, and the basolaterally sclerotized paraprocts. Morphology of the new species is compared with similar taxa. A provisional key is provided for known Flavoperla males. Relevant taxonomic information and a distribution map for described Flavoperla species are discussed.
