Recently collected material as well as material collected in the 1960s of Zelandopsis aturoides Schwoerbel, 1984 shows that this species does not belong in Zelandopsis, but in a new genus described in this paper. Moreover, a new genus was found in recent material from New Zealand, i.e. Acidoturus n. gen., with the type species A. parviscutatus n. sp.. A new subgenus of Momonia, i.e. Zelandomomonia, is erected to accommodate M. hopkinsi Schwoerbel, 1984. Furthermore, a redescription is given for Zelandopsis morimotoi Imamura, 1977 and the first description is given of the female of Notohygrobates kathrynae Cook, 1983.

The genus-level classification of New World Erythroneurini is revised based on results of a phylogenetic analysis of 100 morphological characters. The 704 known species are placed into 18 genera. Erasmoneura Young and Eratoneura Young, previously treated as subgenera of Erythroneura Fitch, and Erythridula Young, most recently treated as a subgenus of Arboridia Zachvatkin, are elevated to generic status. Three species previously included in Erasmoneura are placed in a new genus, Rossmoneura (type species, Erythroneura tecta McAtee). The concept of Erythroneura is thereby narrowed to include only those species previously included in the nominotypical subgenus. New World species previously included in Zygina Fieber are not closely related to the European type species of that genus and are therefore placed in new genera. Neozygina, n. gen., based on type species Erythroneura ceonothana Beamer, includes all species previously included in the “ceonothana group”, and Zyginama, n. gen., based on type species Erythroneura ritana Beamer, includes most species previously included in the “ritana group” of New World Zygina. Five additional new genera are described to include other previously described North American Erythroneurini: Hepzygina, n. gen., based on type species Erythroneura milleri Beamer and also including E. aprica McAtee; Mexigina, n. gen., based on type species Erythroneura oculata McAtee; Nelionidia, n. gen., based on type species N. pueblensis, n. sp., three additional new species, and Erythroneura amicis Ross; Neoimbecilla, n. gen., based on type species Erythroneura kiperi Beamer and one new species; and Illinigina, n. gen., based on type species Erythroneura illinoiensis Gillette. Five new genera, based on previously undescribed species, are also recognized: Aztegina, n. gen, based on A. punctinota, n. sp., from Mexico; Amazygina, n. gen., based on type species A. decaspina, n. sp., and three additional new species from Ecuador; Hamagina, n. gen., based on type species H. spinigera, n. sp., and two additional new species from Peru and Ecuador; Napogina, n. gen., based on type species N. recta, n. sp., and one additional new species from Ecuador; Perugina, n. gen., based on type species P. denticula, n. sp., from Peru; and Spinigina, n. gen., based on type species S. hirsuta, n. sp., and an additional new species from Peru. Phylogenetic analysis suggests that the New World Erythroneurini consist of three lineages resulting from separate invasions from the Old World.

The Oriental and Australasian species of Acmopolynema Ogloblin (Mymaridae) are reviewed; a key to 19 species with known females is given. The genus Baburia Hedquist is synonymized under Acmopolynema and its type species is transferred to Acmopolynema as A. narendrani (Hedquist) comb. n. Ten new species of Acmopolynema are described: A. capeyorki sp. n. (Australia), A. dilemma sp. n. (China), A. garemma sp. n. (Indonesia), A. isaura sp. n. (Indonesia), A. lurindu sp. n. (Nepal), A. neznakomka sp. n. (Papua New Guinea), A. nupta sp. n. (Nepal), A. orchidea sp. n. (Taiwan), A. problema sp. n. (India), and A. shinbana sp. n. (Malaysia). The following new synonymies are proposed: A. maculata Subba Rao and A. nixoni Subba Rao under A. orientale (Narayanan, Subba Rao & Kaur), A. reticoxilla Xu & Lin under A. longicoxillum Xu & Lin, A. himalum Hayat & Anis under A. indochinense (Soyka), and Baburia fasciata Hedquist under A. tachikawai Taguchi. The genera Chaetomymar Ogloblin and Acanthomymar Subba Rao are synonymized under Palaeoneura Waterhouse, which is redescribed along with its type species, P. interrupta Waterhouse (Australia). Ten species of Chaetomymar, 32 Australian species described originally in Polynema Haliday, Polynema nigrum (Subba Rao) (type species of Acanthomymar), and Acmopolynema unimaculatum Hayat & Anis are transferred to Palaeoneura as new combinations. Polynema ara Girault (= P. blackbourni Girault, syn. n. and P. helena Girault, syn. n.) is transferred to Richteria Girault; P. elatum Girault, P. glabricorpus Girault, P. grotiusi Girault, P. lodgei Girault and P. wallacei Girault are transferred to Agalmopolynema Ogloblin, all comb. n. from Polynema. One new genus and one new subgenus are described: Boccacciomymar gen. n., with type species Palaeoneura turneri Waterhouse (Australia) and Prosto, subgen. n. of Boccacciomymar, with type species Polynema victoria Girault (Australia). Polynema schumanni Girault and P. quadripetiolatum Girault are synonymized under Boccacciomymar (B.) turneri (Waterhouse), comb. n. from Palaeoneura. Palaeoneura evanescens Waterhouse is transferred to Boccacciomymar as B. (B.) evanescens (Waterhouse), comb. n.; Polynema aligherini Girault and P. victoria are transferred to Boccacciomymar (Prosto) as, respectively, B. (P.) aligherini (Girault), comb. n. and B. (P.) victoria (Girault), comb. n. Two new species of Boccacciomymar (Boccacciomymar) and four new species of B. (Prosto) are described: B. (B.) conquistador sp. n. (Australia), B. (B.) decameron sp. n. (Australia), B. (P.) maria sp. n. (Australia), B. (P.) nigugu sp. n. (Australia), B. (P.) pobeda sp. n. (New Zealand), and B. (P.) tak sp. n. (New Zealand). A key to the Australian Polynema-group genera of Mymaridae is provided. The Neotropical genus Xenopolynema Ogloblin, stat. rev., with type species X. areolatum Ogloblin stat. rev., is removed from previous synonymy under Polynema, reinstated as a valid genus, and re-diagnosed based on the type specimens from Argentina and new material from Chile; its relationships with Boccacciomymar are discussed.

The phylogenetic tree of Chinese Trigonidiinae species was reconstructed based on one mitochondrial fragment (COI) and two nuclear ribosomal loci (18S and 28S). According to the concatenated trees, we define four genus groups with high nodal supports. The subgenus Paratrigonidium should be upgraded to genus status. A new genus Abstrigonidium He gen. nov. is established and Paratrigonidium chloropodum is selected as type species (A. chloropodum comb. nov.). Amusurgus (Paranaxipha) fujianensis is moved to genus Sectus as S. fujianensis comb. nov. A new species named as Emerasoma curvicerca He gen. et sp. nov. is reported. It differs from other genera by asymmetric genitalia, and lacking stridulatory files and mirror. The type specimens are deposited in Museum of Biology, East China Normal University (ECNU).

Monoceratuncus Razowski, 1992, is reported for the first time from the U.S.A. as Monoceratuncus lantana Pogue, new species. Mimcochylis Razowski, 1985, is reported for the first time from the U.S.A. as Mimcochylis fulvotinctana (Walsingham, 1884), new combination and senior synonym of M. planola Razowski, 1985, new synonym. One new species is described in Aethes Billberg, 1820 (i.e., A. triassumenta Pogue, new species), and one new combination (i.e., A. ringsi (Metzler, 2000), new combination, is proposed. Two other new combinations are proposed: Thyraylia wiscana (Kearfott, 1907), new combination, and Eupinivora parotanus (Razowski and Becker, 2010), new combination.

AbstractThe taxonomy of the Asian genera of the subfamily Betylobraconinae, a small and understudied group within the hymenopteran family Braconidae, is revised. A new genus exclusively from the Asian region, Asiabregma gen. nov., containing three species (A. ryukyuensis sp. nov. (type species, Japan and Malaya), A. makiharai sp. nov. (Japan) and A. sulaensis (van Achterberg), comb. nov. (Indonesia)) is described. One new species of Aulosaphobracon, A. striatus sp. nov. from Vietnam, and one of Facitorus, F. amamioshimus sp. nov. from Japan, are also described. Based on molecular phylogenetic analyses using COI mtDNA and 28S rRNA sequences, the three genera previously placed in the tribe Facitorini, Facitorus, Conobregma and Jannya, together with Asiabregma gen. nov., are transferred to the rogadine tribe Yeliconini.

Eight new taxa of Eriophyidae mites associated with native trees in the Cupania genus—C. oblongifolia Mart. and C. impressinervia Acev (Sapindaceae)—from the Atlantic Forest in Brazil, are described and illustrated. They include two new genera and two new species of Nothopodinae, Colopodacini (Setibia domatiagena   gen. nov., sp. nov. and Aricolopodos alagoensis gen. nov., sp. nov.), one new genus and two new species of Cecidophyinae, Colomerini (Euryslobos keronidos gen. nov., sp. nov. and Gammaphytoptus cupanius sp. nov.), and one new species of Phyllocoptinae, Tegonotini (Shevtchenkella caboata sp. nov.).

Species from artesian springs associated with the Queensland Great Artesian Basin that were previously included in the tateid genus Jardinella are included in three new genera, namely Eulodrobia, with six species, five of them new and all from the Eulo Supergroup; Springvalia, with one species from the Springvale Supergroup; and Carnarvoncochlea with two previously-described species, from the Carnarvon Supergroup. The genus Edgbastonia is extended to include eight previously described species, in addition to the type species, and four new species-group taxa from the Barcaldine Supergroup springs; all but the type species are included in the new subgenus Barcaldinia. Three new species from non-artesian springs in north Queensland are included in Edgbastonia, one of them tentatively. Two additional related new genera, both with a single new species, are described from outside the Great Artesian Basin; Conondalia from southeast Queensland and Nundalia from north-eastern New South Wales. The genus Jardinella, previously used for all the Queensland spring tateids, is here restricted to three species found in coastal rivers and streams in northeast Queensland. A molecular phylogenetic analysis using COI and 16S mitochondrial genes in combination suggests that the Queensland Great Artesian Basin taxa may be more closely related to the tateid genera Austropyrgus, Pseudotricula, Posticobia and Potamopyrgus than to the South Australian GAB taxa, thus indicating the separate origins of these two desert spring faunas.

Sinojassus gen. nov. of tribe Iassini is described based on: two new species from China, S. loberus Dai, Zhang & Zhang sp. nov. (type species), S. aspinus Dai, Zhang & Zhang sp. nov.; one new species from China and Thailand, S. compressus Dai, Zhang & Zhang sp. nov.; and one new species from Vietnam, S. webbi Dai & Dietrich sp. nov. Detailed morphological descriptions, illustrations and a key to species are provided. The new genus resembles Coriojassus Evans, Hyalojassus Evans and Trocnadella Singh-Pruthi in the structure of the male genitalia. The style has an elongate apodeme and short apophysis, the connective is absent, and the aedeagus is simple, without processes, and connected to other parts of the genitalia by membranous ligaments. A key to Oriental genera of Iassini is also provided.

Cortinarius section Xenosmatae, originally based on solely morphological characters, was subsequently shown to contain phylogenetically distantly related species. The type species C. xenosma is a singleton, and this study aims to revise the other members of the section using combined molecular (nrDNA ITS and LSU) and morphological data. Based on phylogenetic analyses using RAxML, PhyML and Bayesian Inference and additional morphological features one new species (C. paraxenosma) and one new section (sect. Olorinati) are proposed. Furthermore sect. Carbonelli is extended and emended to include two former members of sect. Xenosmatae. A key to the species in New Zealand with xenosmatoid morphology is provided.

Following the itemization of the described Madagascan Coraebini (Buprestidae: Agrilinae) (Bellamy 2001a), additional new genera and species of this large fauna have been described (Bellamy 2001b, 2003, 2006). After a preliminary study of the perceived ant-mimicking species I have accumulated in loans from, and during previous visits to, the vast collection of this fauna held by the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, a new monotypic myrmecomorphic genus and species is described. All other putative ant-mimicking species amongst previously described and currently available specimens belong to the genus Entomogaster Saunders, 1871. The new genus is described now for the one new species found to not be congeneric with Entomogaster. In deference to the classification for the tribe Coraebini Bedel, 1921 presented by Kubáň, et al. (2001), the genus-group taxon described herein is provisionally placed in the subtribe Toxoscelina Majer, in Kubáň, et al., 2001.
