The importance of big data implementations is increased due to large amount of gathered data via the online gates. The businesses and organizations would benefit from the big data analysis i.e. analyze the political, market, and social interests of the people. The Internet of Things (IoT) presents many facilities that support the big data transfer between various Internet objects. The integration between the big data and IoT offer a lot of implementations in the daily life like GPS, Satellites, and airplanes tracking. There are many challenges face the integration between big data transfer and IoT technology. The main challenges are the transfer architecture, transfer protocols, and the transfer security. The main aim of this paper is to review the useful architecture of IoT for the purpose of big data processing with the consideration of the various requirements such as the transfer protocol. This paper also reviews other important issues such as the security requirements and the multiple IoT applications. In addition, the future directions of the IoT-Big data are explained in this paper.

Data type and amount in human society is growing at an amazing speed, which is caused by emerging new services such as cloud computing, internet of things, and location-based services. The era of big data has arrived. As data has been a fundamental resource, how to manage and utilize big data better has attracted much attention. Especially with the development of the internet of things, how to process a large amount of real-time data has become a great challenge in research and applications. Recently, cloud computing technology has attracted much attention to high performance, but how to use cloud computing technology for large-scale real-time data processing has not been studied. In this chapter, various big data processing techniques are discussed.

The development of information technology, distributed computing, hardware, wireless communication and intelligent technology has been increased in Internet of Things (IoT) heterogonous filed to improve the limitations of cloud computing in big data processing. Computation of data over wireless communication based distributed computing face different challenges in term of off-loading decision, data delay in heterogonous IoT devices. Optimization of caching, data computation and load maintenance of different edge clouds is still a challenging task in heterogonous IOT for effective processing of big data. So that this paper presents Novel Optimized and Sorted Positional Index List (OSPIL) approach on big data processing to reduce and optimize delay, I/O cost, CPU usage and memory overhead significantly. In this approach sorted index is used to build attributes are (data consists different attributes) arranged in ascending order. This approach consists two phases in data processing, in Phase 1, scan the depth of all the sorted list and schedule the processing data. In phase 2, explore the sorted list and then give results in sequential order on hash table. Experimental results of proposed approach give better and significant data processing results to optimize delay, I/O cost, CPU usage and memory overhead on real world data sets relates wireless communication
