We prove the Ulam-Hyers stability theorem for the quartic functional equationf(2x+y)+f(2x-y)-4f(x+y)-4f(x-y)-24f(x)+6f(y)=0in restricted domains. As a consequence we consider a measure zero stability problem of the above inequality whenf:R→Y.

In this article, we deal with stabilities of several functional equations in n-Banach spaces. For a surjective mapping f into a n-Banach space, we prove the generalized Hyers–Ulam stabilities of the cubic functional equation and the quartic functional equation for f in n-Banach spaces.

In the current work, we introduce a general form of a mixed additive and quartic functional equation. We determine all solutions of this functional equation. We also establish the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of this new functional equation in quasi-$\beta$-normed spaces.
