Abstract Copper Alloy No.1 C84200 is a free-machining copper-tin-lead-zinc alloy for castings; it was formerly identified as 80-5-2.5-12.5 alloy. It has good casting characteristics, good machinability, moderate strength and ductility and good corrosion resistance. Among its many uses are ornamental fixtures, general hardware, plumbing goods, small gears and pipe fittings.
