COPPER ALLOY No. C34200
Abstract Copper Alloy No. C34200 contains nominally 2% lead and has a machinability rating approaching that of Free-Cutting Brass. It is noted for its excellent thread-rolling and knurling properties. It is used for many screw-machine applications and it has good resistance to corrosion in many environments. Its many applications include channel plate, gears, wheels and components for clocks and watches. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-476. Producer or source: Brass mills.
