Abstract Copper Alloy No. C92800 is a cast bronze containing nominally 16% tin and 5% lead. Former commercial names (not recommended) are (1) 295, (2) Leaded Tin Bronze, (3) Ring Metal and (4) 79-16-5-0. It has excellent machinability, moderate strength and good resistance to corrosion.
