Abstract ALCHROME ALLOY 750 is an iron-chromium-aluminum resistance alloy operable at temperatures up to 1900 F (1038 C). It is usually used in medium-to-heavy wire sizes. Because of its higher resistivity than nickel-chromium alloys it is often specified where space is a factor. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance. Filing Code: Fe-87. Producer or source: Carpenter.

Abstract TECHALLOY FECRALLOY A is a new, flexible iron-chromium-aluminum electrical-resistance alloy for heating elements. It greatly resists embrittlement and oxidation; in fact, it has outstanding resistance in air and other hot oxidizing gases to 2372 F (1300 C). Its useful life is many times longer than that of heating elements made from conventional resistance alloys. The alloy can be formed easily on standard equipment and, if necessary, heating elements can be removed easily and repaired; also, the alloy is so ductile that it can be rewound. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Fe-63. Producer or source: Resistalloy Ltd.
