Abstract Nicrofer 5219 Nb is a precipitation-hardenable Ni-Cr-Fe alloy containing niobium and molybdenum. The alloy possesses excellent strength to 700 deg (1300 deg F), good corrosion resistance, and good weldability. A growing application is bolting and quick closure devices for the chemical process industry.
