Abstract Type CG6MMN is a 22Cr-12.5Ni-5Mn-2.25Mo alloy that is the cast equivalent of Nitronic 50 (see Alloy Digest SS-304, revised April 1990). The alloy is used as castings for pump and valve bodies to resist a wide variety of environments that corrode type 316 (CF8M).
