Lasiosina devitata sp. n. is described from Turkey. Specimens were reared from stem of Lepidium latifolium (Brassicaceae). This is the first record of the feeding of Lasiosina larvae on dicotyledon plant. Some characters are added to the description of species of the L. nigriantennata group based on examination of type specimens.

The leafhopper genus Plumosa was erected by Sohi (1977). It belongs to the tribe Erythroneurini of Typhlocybinae with Plumosa emarginata Sohi, 1977 from India as its type species. Until now, there have been no further reports on this genus. Here the genus is reported for the first time from China and a new Chinese species is described and illustrated. The type specimens are deposited to the collection of the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, Guizhou (IEGU) and Illinois Natural History Survey (INHS).

A new species Hengchunia hexaproducta sp. nov. is described and illustrated from China, representing the first record of the genus from the southeastern Palaearctic Region. A key is given to distinguish all species of the genus. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC).

In this study, we describe a new species of the genus Poecilocloeus from Renascença municipality, Paraná State, Brazil. Poecilocloeus renascensis n. sp. inhabits the Atlantic Semideciduous Forest edges of Renascença and adjacent areas, and our study is the first record of this genus from southern Brazil. The species belongs to the group bullatus (Rehn, 1908), and the descriptions are based on morphological characters, mainly from male genitalia. Morphological descriptions are provided together with illustrations emphasizing the most significant diagnostic features of external morphology and male genitalia. Information is given about type specimens, examined material and geographic distribution.

A new species of the caridean shrimp genus Pseudocheles Chace & Brown, 1978 is described from an offshore localityabout 160 km east of the Rio Doce estuary in Espírito Santo, Brazil. Pseudocheles falsapinca sp. nov. is the fourth speciesin the genus, differing from its three congeners, P. enigma Chace & Brown, 1978, P. chacei Kensley, 1983 and P. neutraDe Grave & Moosa, 2004, by the combination of the following features: antennal tooth minute or absent, fifth pleuronwith acute posterior tooth, carpus of third, fourth and fifth pereiopod with robust spiniform seta, coxa of third and fourthpereiopods without acute projection mesially, rostrum with five dorsal teeth, all anterior to post-orbital margin, and thirdmaxilliped with rounded, epipod-like structure. The new species is the deepest species of Pseudocheles reported so far, with both type specimens dredged at a depth range of 68–71 m. Pseudocheles falsapinca sp. nov. also represents the first record of Pseudocheles and the family Pseudochelidae De Grave & Moosa, 2004 for Brazil and the South-West Atlantic.

The leafhopper genus Nirvanguina Zhang & Webb (Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae: Drabescini: Paraboloponina) is reviewed, including description of a new species, Nirvanguina bifurcatus Xu & Zhang sp. nov., from China. An updated checklist along with distribution and a key to males of this genus are also provided. Type specimens of this new species are deposited in the Entomological Museum, Northwest A&F University, Yangling, Shaanxi, China (NWAFU).

AbstractThe order Intejocerida is an enigmatic, short-lived cephalopod taxon known previously only from Early–Middle Ordovician beds of Siberia and the United States. Here we report a new genus, Cabaneroceras, and a new species, C. aznari, from Middle Ordovician strata of central Spain. This finding widens the paleogeographic range of the order toward high-paleolatitudinal areas of peri-Gondwana. A curved conch, characteristic for the new genus, was previously unknown from members of the Intejocerida.UUID: http://zoobank.org/21f0a09c-5265-4d29-824b-6b105d36b791
