Using biometrics for personal identity authentication is becoming more reliable and accurate than current methods because it links the event to a particular individual (e.g. a password may be used by someone other that the authorized user), is convenient (nothing to carry or remember), accurate (provides positive authentication) and is socially acceptable. Adaptive frequency sub-band or time frame recombination approaches are introduced in this thesis.

Before one can reflect upon the presence of creativity in the Emerging Adult, it is necessary to better understand and explore what it means to be an Emerging Adult. Reviewing the developmental theories of Jeffery Arnett, Erik Erikson, James Marcia, Jean Piaget, and Sigmund Freud is necessary in order to better understand the Emerging Adult and how creativity can optimally be stimulated during this time frame of development. Emerging Adulthood integrates a variety of developmental milestones, including the development of identity and intimacy and the transition of an adolescent from parental dependence to independence in college, relationships and work. This chapter will cover and discuss creativity in the context of group identity, personal identity, family, relationships, cognition, college education, and the workplace.

Finger vein authentication is a novel biometrics technology for personal identification. In this paper, universality, collectability, acceptability, circumvention, uniqueness, permanency and performance of finger vein distribution pattern are analyzed. Thereinto, universality, collectability, acceptability and circumvention of finger vein pattern are described simply through the citation of relational literature, and uniqueness, permanency, performance of finger vein pattern are particularly studied by experimental means. The experimental result shows that there are favorable general performance for finger vein pattern in biometrics, finger vein can be applied effectively in personal identity authentication, finger vein identification technology have a well applying prospect and developmental potential.
