Displacement System

Measuring rock stratum displacement in dam grouting process is very important. A new displacement system is designed, comprising a programmable microcontroller Atmega16, a new grating capacitive displacement sensor(GCDS), DS1302 real time clock chip and announciator etc. The system has high sampling rate of 9600 baud rate and can trap the displacement equal to 0.001 millimeter in one second. Equipped with mechanical conveyance system, the system can be applied to the civil engineer. The experiment results show the instrument can measure accurately the displacement value and alarm geologic disaster in time, which can conduct continuous and accurate monitoring and provide operation decisions for dam engineers.

Pada aquascape proses fotosintesis sangat berpengaruh pada kesuburan dan keindahan tanaman air. Suhu, kejernihan dan pencahayaan air adalah faktor utama yang mempengaruhi hasil fotosintesis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sebuah sistem untuk menjaga kestabilan suhu air, tingkat kejernihan air dan pencahayaan pada tanaman air. Sistem yang dibangaun meggunakan sensor DS18B20 untuk membaca nilai suhu air, sensor turbidity untuk membaca nilai kejernihan air dan modul Real Time Clock (RTC) untuk mengatur pencahayaan. Nilai pembacaan suhu air, kejernihan air dan nilai waktu akan diproses oleh mikrokontroler dengan sistem kendali logika fuzzy menjadi sebuah keluaran untuk mengatur kecepatan motor pump pendingin (cooling), motor pump filter dan LED sumber pencahayaan pada aquascape. Informasi masukan dan keluaran sistem ditampilkan pada LCD 16 x 2. Hasil rencangan dan implementasi sistem diharapkan dapat membantu fotosintesis buatan pada tanaman air agar dapat berjalan dengan baik. Sistem kendali suhu air berbasis logika Fuzzy dapat menjaga suhu air sekitar 22 - 25 ⁰C dengan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 99,08 %. Sistem kendali tingkat kekeruhan air berbasis logika Fuzzy dapat menjaga tingkat kekeruhan air sekitar 5 - 25 NTU dengan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 96,66 %. Sistem pencahayaan dapat bekerja selama 8 jam perhari, mulai pukul 19.00 - 03.00 WIB.
