In recent decades, there has been a wide spread of open traumatic brain injury (TBI) closely associated with an increase in the pace of life, rise in the number of high-speed vehicles, industrialization, as well as such phenomena as terrorism and local military conflicts. The problem of diagnostics and effective treatment of traumatic brain injury is one of the most important for ambulance doctors, doctors of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and neurosurgeons in providing timely qualified assistance, and is also of interest for modern medical science for further studying pathological processes and preventing the development of complications in this pathology.
