Special methods and devices for performance evaluation of mechanized equipment systems for electric arc welding and surfacing

The problems that are associated with solving the problems for determining of the technical characteristics and the results of the use of mechanized and automatic equipment for arc welding and surfacing processes are considered. New methodological developments and technical (hardware) means are proposed that allow expanding the possibilities for developers, designers, manufacturers to determine the real characteristics of welding equipment systems to ensure their reliability and the electric arc processes themselves in terms of their stability. The conditions for the application of new developments in specific welding—surfacing processes with high levels of noise, current and voltage fluctuations and thermal effects during arc burning are considered. It is shown that the proposed designs of devices and techniques for analyzing of the characteristics of equipment and processes can be mastered by the industry.

In order to optimize electric- arc welding (ERW) welded tube scheduling , the paper introduces data cleaning, data extraction and transformation in detail and defines the datasets of sample attribute, which is based on analysis of production process of ERW welded tube. Furthermore, Decision-Tree method is adopted to achieve data mining and summarize scheduling rules which are validated by an example.
