SynopsisThe asymptotic behaviour of semigroups of nonlinear contractions which have a set of fixed points containing a ball of finite codimension is studied. It is shown that the ω-limit sets of such semigroups are finite dimensional tori, and that an analogue of the classical Kronecker-Weil theorem holds for such semigroups.

The aim of the paper is to discuss data dependence, existence of fixed points, strict fixed points, and well posedness of some multivalued generalized contractions in the setting of complete metric spaces. Using auxiliary functions, we introduce Wardowski type multivalued nonlinear operators that satisfy a novel class of contractive requirements. Furthermore, the existence and data dependence findings for these multivalued operators are obtained. A nontrivial example is also provided to support the results. The results generalize, improve, and extend existing results in the literature.

Tripled fixed points are extensions of the idea of coupled fixed points introduced in a recent paper by Berinde and Borcut, 2011. Here using a separate methodology we extend this result to a triple coincidence point theorem in partially ordered metric spaces. We have defined several concepts pertaining to our results. The main results have several corollaries and an illustrative example. The example shows that the extension proved here is actual and also the main theorem properly contains all its corollaries.
