Based on the hyper spectral data provided by small satellites for environmental hazard monitoring and forecasting (HJ-A), we convert the data format and reflectance to remove possible interference. Spectral angle mapping method is employed afterwards for mineral mapping of the study area. The small-scaled mineral distribution map is then generated for the whole study area. Our study suggests that mineral mapping using HJ-A satellite hyper spectral data is fairly effective in terms of mapping quality and cost.

Remote sensing technology has been widely used in various applications related to natural resources and environment monitoring. In this paper, we evaluated the capability of new Sentinel-2A image to map the distribution and percent cover of seagrass in optically shallow water of Jerowaru coastal area, East Lombok. Seagrass distribution map was produced from radiometrically and geometrically corrected Sentinel-2A image with overall accuracy of 61.9%. Using empirical model, seagrass percent cover was predicted with maximum coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.51 and standard error of estimate (SE) of 19.4%. The results suggest that Sentinel-2A image can be used to perform seagrass mapping time and cost-effectively and can be further improved by incorporating more robust empirical modeling technique.

Submarine pipelines must be designed to resist wave and current induced hydrodynamic forces especially in and near the surf zone. They are buried as protection against forces in the surf zone, however this procedure is not always feasible particularly on a movable sea bed. For this reason the characteristics of the sediment transport on the construction site of beaches should be investigated. In this investigation, the application of the remote sensing method is introduced in order to determine and observe the coastal morphology, so that submarine pipelines may be protected against undesirable seabed movement.

With remote sensing technology and computer technology, remote sensing classification technology has been rapid progress. In the traditional classification of remote sensing technology, based on the combination of today's technology in the field of remote sensing image classification, some new developments and applications for land cover classification techniques to make more comprehensive elaboration. Using the minimum distance classifier extracts of the study area land use types. Ultimately extracted land use study area distribution image and make its analysis and evaluation.
