Abstract We introduce and investigate the injective hull of the strongly Lipschitz classical p-compact operator ideal defined between a pointed metric space and a Banach space. As an application we extend some characterizations of the injective hull of the strongly Lipschitz classical p-compact from the linear case to the Lipschitz case. Also, we introduce the ideal of Lipschitz unconditionally quasi p-nuclear operators between pointed metric spaces and show that it coincides with the Lipschitz injective hull of the ideal of Lipschitz classical p-compact operators.

Abstract Using the semi-tensor product of matrices, this paper investigates cycles of graphs with application to cut-edges and the minimum spanning tree, and presents a number of new results and algorithms. Firstly, by defining a characteristic logical vector and using the matrix expression of logical functions, an algebraic description is obtained for cycles of graph, based on which a new necessary and sufficient condition is established to find all cycles for any graph. Secondly, using the necessary and sufficient condition of cycles, two algorithms are established to find all cut-edges and the minimum spanning tree, respectively. Finally, the study of an illustrative example shows that the results/algorithms presented in this paper are effective.

Relatively little is known about the ideal structure of A⊗RA' when A and A' are R-algebras. In [4, p. 460], Curtis and Reiner gave conditions that imply certain tensor products are semi-simple with minimum condition. Herstein considered when the tensor product has zero Jacobson radical in [6, p. 43]. Jacobson [7, p. 114] studied tensor products with no two-sided ideals, and Rosenberg and Zelinsky investigated semi-primary tensor products in [9].All rings considered in this paper are assumed to be commutative with identity. Furthermore, R will always denote a field.

Let be a fixed separable, infinite dimensional complex Hilbert space, and let () denote the algebra of all (bounded, linear) operators on . The ideal of all compact operators on will be denoted by and the canonical quotient map from () onto the Calkin algebra ()/ will be denoted by π.Some open problems in the theory of extensions of C*-algebras (cf. [1]) have recently motivated an increasing interest in the class of all operators in () whose self-commuta tor is compact.
