OXIDIZING REACTIVATION OF COPPER CATALYST FOR METHANOL SYNTHESIS

The change in phase composition and catalytic properties of a copper-containing catalyst for methanol synthesis which was deactivated under industrial operation was studied at its redox treatment. The possibility of catalyst partial reactivation was shown. Conditions of reactivation were choosen at the increase in catalyst running time.

We describe a novel approach to prepare cellular methanol synthesis catalysts by combining additive manufacturing (AM) of a Cu–Al alloy followed by selective leaching of Al with aqueous NaOH solutions.

Four types of TiO2 with different rutile/anatase crystalline phase compositions were used as supports, and the effect of the TiO2 phase composition on the catalytic properties of supported Rh catalysts in the synthesis of C2 oxygenates from syngas was studied.

The effect of the addition of La3+ cations on the structural properties of Pt/WOх/ZrO₂ catalysts and the characteristics of catalytic activity in the process of hydroisomerization of n-heptane and benzene mixture was studied. The phase composition of the catalysts is represented by a solid solution of lanthanum cations in nanocrystalline zirconia of tetragonal modification with localization of lanthanum in the surface layers predominantly. The positive effect of La3+ additives on the selectivity and yield of isomerized products was shown
