Cet article explore la mise en texte de la réhabilitation d’un acteur Noir de la Résistance française dans Le Terroriste noir de Tierno Monénembo. En effet, ce dernier, en mettant aux prises littérature, histoire et mémoire, donne à s’interroger à propos de la prise en charge de la réalité historique par la fiction, sur le rôle de l’oubli et de l’imagination dans la construction du souvenir et sur la fonction qu’ils occupent dans le devoir de mémoire.
