Based on the original and published data, it is suggested to refer Pantocsekiella rossii to the synonymy of Pantocsekiella chantaica and extend the diagnosis of the latter.

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan lapangan, jenis lamun yang ditemukan antara lain: E n h alu s a c o r oid e s , T h ala s sia h e m p ric hii, C y m o d o c e a s e r r ula t a , C y m o d o c e a rotundata, Syringodi um isoetifolium, Halodule uninervis, Halophila ovalis, dan Halophila minor .

<em>Seagrasses habitats have both physical and ecological functions that support adjacent waters qualities and its dwelling organisms. There are varies of pressure on seagrass environmental, especially due to people activities that could decrease its function and habitat stabilities. The study aimed to determine about seagrass habitat stabilities from its species composition and/or densities. Line transect-plots and exploration methods were used in five locations of Manokwari coastal waters, that were, Andai, Rendani, Wosi, Briosi, and Tanjung Manggewa. There are five pioneer species (Cymodocea rotundata, Halodule pinifolia, H. uninervis, Syringodium isoetifolium, Halophila ovalis) and 3 climax species (Cymodocea serrulata, Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii). The pioneer only found in Andai and Wosi, however both pioneer and climax encountered in three other locations. In Rendani and Tanjung Manggewa higher density of climax species (T. hemprichii) were 617.7 and 828.0 stands m-2, respectively, although in Briosi the higher pioneer (C. rotundata) of 570.7 stands m-2. These conditions showed that seagrass habitat in Rendani and Tanjung Manggewa are more stable compared to Briosi, as well as Andai and Wosi. It concluded that pioneer species found in newly formed habitat or disturbed, on the other hand, climax in more stable habitat.</em>

On the basis of the studied materials from the ultraoligotrophic lake Elgygytgyn (Chukotka), a rare for the flora of Russia diatom species Navicula schmassmannii was recorded. In the studied populations of the species a wide variability of morphological quantitative (valve length and width, the number of stria in 10 μm) and qualitative (the shape of the valve and the central area) features was marked. It made the basis for emending of the species diagnosis.

Abstract In this paper, we examine the effects of learning environment on second language (L2) gender agreement. English speakers learning L2 Spanish participated in a self-paced reading task and a picture selection task prior to and after a short-term study abroad experience. The results from the self-paced reading task showed that their reliance on the masculine article as the default (e.g., McCarthy, Corrine. 2008. Morphological variability in the comprehension of agreement: An argument for representation over computation. Second Language Research 24(4). 459–486) was reduced over time abroad. Findings from the picture selection task showed that the learners did not attend to the gender of articles unless it was their only cue, but that after the study abroad experience they began to use gender as an anticipatory cue for lexical selection. We interpret these results as support for an adapted version of the Shallow Structures Hypothesis (Clahsen, Harald & Claudia Felser. 2006a. Grammatical processing in language learners. Applied Psycholinguistics 27(1). 3–42; Clahsen, Harald & Claudia Felser. 2006b. How native-like is non-native language processing? Trends in Cognitive Sciences 10(12). 564–570) and the notion that in immersion contexts L2 learners shift their parsing strategy to be more communicatively focused (Schwieter, John W. & Gabrielle Klassen. 2016. Linguistic advances and learning strategies in a short-term study abroad experience. Study Abroad Research in Second Language Acquisition and International Education 1(2). 217–247).

Abstract Introduction Endoscopic skull base approaches are broadly used in modern neurosurgery. The support of neuronavigation can help to effectively target the lesion avoiding complications. In children, endoscopic-assisted skull base surgery in combination with navigation systems becomes even more important because of the morphological variability and rare diseases affecting the sellar and parasellar regions. This paper aims to analyze our first experience on augmented reality navigation in endoscopic skull base surgery in a pediatric case series. Patients and methods A retrospective review identified seventeen endoscopic-assisted endonasal or transoral procedures performed in an interdisciplinary setting in a period between October 2011 and May 2020. In all the cases, the surgical target was a lesion in the sellar or parasellar region. Clinical conditions, MRI appearance, intraoperative conditions, postoperative MRI, possible complications, and outcomes were analyzed. Results The mean age of our patients was 14.5 ± 2.4 years. The diagnosis varied, but craniopharyngiomas (31.2%) were mostly represented. AR navigation was experienced to be very helpful for effectively targeting the lesion and defining the intraoperative extension of the pathology. In 65% of the oncologic cases, a radical removal was proven in postoperative MRI. The mean follow-up was 89 ± 79 months. There were no deaths in our series. No long-term complications were registered; two cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) fistulas and a secondary abscess required further surgery. Conclusion The implementation of augmented reality to endoscopic-assisted neuronavigated procedures within the skull base was feasible and did provide relevant information directly in the endoscopic field of view and was experienced to be useful in the pediatric cases, where anatomical variability and rarity of the pathologies make surgery more challenging.
