Abstract: Advanced & Secure Laboratory Information Management System, TRLIMS is the management system which has live tracking system for all the testing and research conducted at the laboratory. This system is developed to achieve diverse functionality for the disciplines such as mechanical, chemical, environmental, microbiology and non-destructive fields. The basic features of this application are that it can manage the data related to client, employees and testing results of the laboratory. Apart from that since the application is fully hosted on server which offers flexibility, providing future scope for more hardware and operating system configuration. This application provides very enhanced turn-around-time (TAT) for the material testing laboratory It aims to manage the employees, clients and associated testing data to improve the lab productivity. The application allows clients to track their improvement in sample testing from time to time, the data is updated on server by employees who perform tests at the premises. This paper could provide guidance to understanding the operation mechanism of Laboratory Information Management System.

The article discusses the results of implementation of the laboratory information management system (LIMS) U-LAB, developed by the UralNIIstrom Institute and tested in the regional road sector. The system of quality control of asphalt-concrete road surfaces, road pavement structures and road-building materials in the construction, repair and maintenance of highways is presented, the role of independent laboratory control, engineering and scientifictechnical support, supervision of design decisions is defined. The content and advantages of using the U-LAB LIMS for organizing and improving the efficiency of laboratory quality control of highways and building materials, improving interaction between road management bodies, contractors, design and scientific organizations involved in road works are described. The program interface is shown, the results and technical and economic indicators of the implementation and operation of LIMS in the UralNIIstrom test center in 2020 are presented.

Modern laboratory equipment helps to effectively solve the tasks of the examination of medicines. It is impossible to conduct mass analysis of samples without high-quality software and quickly obtain information about their quality characteristics. This article describes the results of evaluating the implementation of the Agilent OpenLab CDS-2 laboratory information management system for chromatographic equipment at the testing center of an Expert institution in the sphere of Medicinal Products Circulation. Purpose of work. Development and testing of a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of modern software for chromatographic equipment. Materials and methods. Analysis of scientific publications of domestic and foreign specialized literature on the problem of evaluating the effectiveness of implementing an information system for managing chromatographic equipment. An analysis of the data of an expert survey was carried out with further graphic processing of the results. Results. A survey was conducted; data were analyzed reporting on the effectiveness of implementing modern software for chromatographic equipment. Conclusion. The result of the analysis of the survey materials is a statement about the high degree of effectiveness of implementing the information management system for chromatographic equipment in the testing center of an Expert institution in the sphere of Medicinal Products Circulation.
