The article proposes a method for selecting parameters based on correlation and regression analysis in order to further include significant variables in the equation of stability of an enterprise of an organizational network. The sample consists of ten businesses and ten hypothetical control points. Three subsystems are accepted for consideration: technical and economic (nine indicators), organizational and legal (seven indicators) and human resources (seven indicators of economic activity of a legal entity). The proposed methodology allows us to justify significant indicators for each of the three subsystems for determining the stability of network elements (enterprises), depending on the overall trend of production capacity: a successfully developing enterprise; a high-performing enterprise; a low-performing one. This method allows us to predict the possible volume of deliveries from enterprises - elements of the network. To achieve this goal, it is proposed to use the apparatus of multivariate analysis, in particular, correlation and regression analysis, which allows us to determine the presence of links and their closeness between factors, as well as the degree of influence on the studied value. The calculations were performed using the “Correlation” and “Regression” tools included in the “Data Analysis” package of the Microsoft Excel program.

The article discusses the issue of complying with the requirements of Article 16 of Federal Law No. 384-FL «Technical Regulations on the safety of buildings and structures» on the use of a physically and geometrically nonlinear model adequate to the soil when developing the bases and foundations of bridge supports and other transport structures, which will significantly increase the reliability and cost-effectiveness of design solutions. At the same time, it is necessary to adjust the methodological and instrument support of transport universities for the effective training of bachelor’s and master’s degree students in the methodology of practical application of the geotechnical requirements of Law No. 384-FL.

The main problems of transport infrastructure of cities are the problems of interaction of different types of transport, optimization of route flows, technical backwardness, low capacity, low speed of travel on public transport, low comfort for passengers. Currently, this is complicated by the constant growth of population and the number of cars, which invariably results in the need for optimization of an urban logistics system. A comprehensive solution to the problems presented can be the building of a network of transport hubs as a new stage in the implementation of transport reform. The article analyzes the transport infrastructure of Yekaterinburg. Based on the ABC analysis of passenger traffic, a method has been developed to identify the stopping points of the route network, which can later be transformed into transport hubs. The optimal logistics system of Yekaterinburg has been formed, consisting of three transport and logistics hubs: “Bus terminal”, “Railway station”, “Professors’” (Professorskaya).

The article studies the possibility of reducing the transition resistance of demountable electrical contact joints in laboratory conditions by using multicomponent gallium alloys. The relevance of the chosen topic is attributed to the need for reducing energy losses and improve the reliability of a contact network.

The article is devoted to the development of the model for finding an optimal route for a combined route container train (CRCT), i.e. a train with a designated route and schedule, en route from the initial to the final station without reforming of a rolling stock, but carrying out cargo handling operations for loading/unloading containers at intermediate stops of the route. It is proposed to call the optimal route of a CRCT, which provides the minimum delivery time while ensuring the targeted train loading on each section and with a set value of demand for container transportation at each point of the route. A software implementation of the model in the MS Excel environment is proposed using the built-in generalized reduced gradient algorithm.

The sand drift of the railway track and the blowing of the roadbed negatively affect the elements of the track infrastructure to such an extent that they reach the limit states at which it becomes impossible for them to continue functioning. This leads to a violation of train safety. To assess the negative impact of sand and determine the necessary protective measures, a method of visual monitoring of the state of the track is proposed.

The article deals with the issues of resource saving on railways. Approaches to the definition of the essence of resource saving are highlighted. The influence of high-speed railway lines on the change in the structure of labor resources is revealed. The tasks of improving the resource management system and specific resources on railway transport are defined. Special attention is paid to railway automation and telemechanics systems, which will significantly reduce the labor costs of the HSR. The specific energy costs for different types of transport and per passenger-kilometer are given.

The article is devoted to the analysis, calculations, and methods of determining the removal rate and the degree of its influence in case of mutual arrangement of freight and passenger trains on the traffic schedule. The article summarizes the results of mass analytical calculations for determining the removal rate, and provides calculations based on experimental train schedules. The calculation of the removal rate is carried out in a new way, which takes into account the factors that guarantee traffic safety and the most complete use of the available railway capacity, and also offers a calculation formula.
