We have investigated the effect of single-ion anisotropy of the "easy plane" type on the phase states of a ferrimagnet with S = 1 and σ=1/2 sublattices and non-Heisenberg (bilinear and biquadratic in spins) exchange interaction for the sublattice with S = 1. It is shown that taking into account both the non-Heisenberg exchange interaction and the single-ion anisotropy of the sublattice with S = 1 leads to the realization of a phase with vector order parameters (ferrimagnetic phase) and a phase characterized by both vector and tensor order parameters (quadrupole-ferrimagnetic). It is shown that taking into account single-ion anisotropy changes the type of phase transition in comparison with an isotropic non-Heisenberg ferrimagnet. A phase diagram is constructed, and the condition for the compensation of the sublattice spins is determined.

A new curved-type reflector for solar power generation is proposed. By adopting the curved-type reflector between consecutive solar panel arrays, all incoming sunlight can be utilized and thus, the generated power is significantly increased. Furthermore, the proposed curved-type reflector can be generally used in four seasons regardless of the altitude or angle of the installation environment. The optimum design rule for the curved-reflector, comparing to a plane-type reflector, is completely developed in this paper. A new solar cell configuration best fit for the proposed curved-reflector is also provided. Experimental results showed that the curved-type reflector improves the spatial average solar power by 61% compared to no reflector case, which is even 11% higher than the plane-type reflector. Reflectors, especially curved-type reflectors, are found to be one of promising solutions for highly efficient solar power generation.

Magnetic force microscopy and magnetometry were used to study the magnetic characteristics of pressed nanosized powders BaFe12O19. The powders were obtained by chemical coprecipitation. Magnetic anisotropy of the “easy-plane” type, formed after the pressing operation, was found. The nature of the appearance of anisotropy is discussed.

The returned part of the first stage of plane type with a turbojet has some dynamic features. The main things from these features are reflected in this article. Possibility of reception of the landing characteristics close to the plane is estimated also.
