Abstract In the present paper we examine a projectively flat spacetime solution of F(R)-gravity theory. It is seen that once we deploy projective flatness in the geometry of the spacetime, the matter field has constant energy density and isotropic pressure. We then make the condition weaker and discuss the effects of projectively harmonic spacetime geometry in F(R)-gravity theory and show that the spacetime in this case reduces to a generalised Robertson-Walker spacetime with a shear, vorticity, acceleration free perfect fluid with a specific form of expansion scalar presented in terms of the scale factor. Role of conharmonic curvature tensor in the spacetime geometry is also briefly discussed. Some analysis of the obtained results are conducted in terms of couple of F(R)-gravity models.

A Finsler manifold is said to be geodesically reversible if the reversed curve of any geodesic remains a geometrical geodesic. Well-known examples of geodesically reversible Finsler metrics are Randers metrics with closed [Formula: see text]-forms. Another family of well-known examples are projectively flat Finsler metrics on the [Formula: see text]-sphere that have constant positive curvature. In this paper, we prove some geometrical and dynamical characterizations of geodesically reversible Finsler metrics, and we prove several rigidity results about a family of the so-called Randers-type Finsler metrics. One of our results is as follows: let [Formula: see text] be a Riemannian–Finsler metric on a closed surface [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text] be a small antisymmetric potential on [Formula: see text] that is a natural generalization of [Formula: see text]-form (see Sec. 1). If the Randers-type Finsler metric [Formula: see text] is geodesically reversible, and the geodesic flow of [Formula: see text] is topologically transitive, then we prove that [Formula: see text] must be a closed [Formula: see text]-form. We also prove that this rigidity result is not true for the family of projectively flat Finsler metrics on the [Formula: see text]-sphere of constant positive curvature.

In the present paper, we have studied curvature tensors of a quasi-Sasakian manifold with respect to the $D_a$-homothetic deformation. We have deduced the Ricci solition in quasi-Sasakian manifold with respect to the $D_a$-homothetic deformation. We have also proved that the quasi-Sasakian manifold is not $\bar{\xi}$-projectively flat under $D_a$-homothetic deformation. Also we give an example to prove the existance of quasi-Sasakian manifold.

In the present paper,  we study three-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifolds admitting the Schouten-van Kampen connection.  Also, we have proved some results on $\phi$-projectively flat, $\xi-$projectively flat and $\xi-$concircularly flat three-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold  with respect to the Schouten-van Kampen connection. Locally $\phi-$symmetry trans-Sasakian manifolds of dimension three have been studied  with respect to Schouten-van Kampen connection. Finally, we construct an example of a three-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold admitting Schouten-van Kampen connection which verifies Theorem 4.1.

AbstractIn this paper, we study locally projectively flat Finsler metrics of constant flag curvature. We find equations that characterize these metrics by warped product. Using the obtained equations, we manufacture new locally projectively flat Finsler warped product metrics of vanishing flag curvature. These metrics contain the metric introduced by Berwald and the spherically symmetric metric given by Mo-Zhu.

Abstract In this paper, we study M-projective curvature tensors on an ( LCS ) 2 ⁢ n + 1 {(\mathrm{LCS})_{2n+1}} -manifold. Here we study M-projectively Ricci symmetric and M-projectively flat admitting spacetime.

In this paper, we study ∗-Conformal [Formula: see text]-Ricci soliton on Sasakian manifolds. Here, we discuss some curvature properties on Sasakian manifold admitting ∗-Conformal [Formula: see text]-Ricci soliton. We obtain some significant results on ∗-Conformal [Formula: see text]-Ricci soliton in Sasakian manifolds satisfying [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] is Pseudo-projective curvature tensor. The conditions for ∗-Conformal [Formula: see text]-Ricci soliton on [Formula: see text]-conharmonically flat and [Formula: see text]-projectively flat Sasakian manifolds have been obtained in this paper. Lastly we give an example of five-dimensional Sasakian manifolds satisfying ∗-Conformal [Formula: see text]-Ricci soliton.

Abstract This paper is devoted to the study of the asymptotics of Monge–Ampère volumes of direct images associated with high tensor powers of an ample line bundle. We study the leading term of this asymptotics and provide a classification of bundles saturating the topological bound of Demailly. In the special case of high symmetric powers of ample vector bundles, this provides a characterization of those admitting projectively flat Hermitian structures.
