The object of the present paper is to study semi-symmetric metric connection on a 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold. We found the necessary condition under which a vector field on a 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold will be a strict contact vector field. Then, we obtained extended generalized phi-recurrent 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold with respect to semi-symmetric metric connection. Next, a 3-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold satises the condition ~L.~ S = 0 with respect to semi-symmetric metric connection is studied.

In this paper, we find a characterization of the 3-sphere using 3-dimensional compact and simply connected trans-Sasakian manifolds of type (α,β).

We categorize almost quasi-Yamabe solitons on LP -Sasakian manifolds and their CR -submanifolds whose potential vector field is torse-forming, admitting a generalized symmetric metric connection of type α , β . Finally, a nontrivial example is provided to confirm some of our results.

The present paper is to deliberate the class of $3$-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifolds which admits $\eta$-Einstein solitons. We have studied $\eta$-Einstein solitons on $3$-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifolds where the Ricci tensors are Codazzi type and cyclic parallel. We have also discussed some curvature conditions admitting $\eta$-Einstein solitons on $3$-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifolds and the vector field is torse-forming. We have also shown an example of $3$-dimensional trans-Sasakian manifold with respect to $\eta$-Einstein soliton to verify our results.

In the present paper, we have studied curvature tensors of a quasi-Sasakian manifold with respect to the $D_a$-homothetic deformation. We have deduced the Ricci solition in quasi-Sasakian manifold with respect to the $D_a$-homothetic deformation. We have also proved that the quasi-Sasakian manifold is not $\bar{\xi}$-projectively flat under $D_a$-homothetic deformation. Also we give an example to prove the existance of quasi-Sasakian manifold.

The objective of the present research article is to study the $\delta$-Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifolds conceding the $\eta$-Ricci solitons and gradient Ricci soliton. We shown that a symmetric second order covariant tensor in a $\delta$-Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifold is a constant multiple of metric tensor. Also, we furnish an example of $\eta$-Ricci soliton on 3-diemsional $\delta$-Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifold is provide in the region where $\delta$-Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifold is expanding. Furthermore, we discuss some results based on gradient Ricci solitons on $3$-dimensional $\delta$- Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifold.

PurposeThe central idea of this research article is to examine the characteristics of Clairaut submersions from Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifolds of type (α, β) and also, to enhance this geometrical analysis with some specific cases, namely Clairaut submersion from Lorentzian α-Sasakian manifold, Lorentzian β-Kenmotsu manifold and Lorentzian cosymplectic manifold. Furthermore, the authors discuss some results about Clairaut Lagrangian submersions whose total space is a Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifolds of type (α, β). Finally, the authors furnished some examples based on this study.Design/methodology/approachThis research discourse based on classifications of submersion, mainly Clairaut submersions, whose total manifolds is Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifolds and its all classes like Lorentzian Sasakian, Lorenztian Kenmotsu and Lorentzian cosymplectic manifolds. In addition, the authors have explored some axioms of Clairaut Lorentzian submersions and illustrates our findings with some non-trivial examples.FindingsThe major finding of this study is to exhibit a necessary and sufficient condition for a submersions to be a Clairaut submersions and also find a condition for Clairaut Lagrangian submersions from Lorentzian trans-Sasakian manifolds.Originality/valueThe results and examples of the present manuscript are original. In addition, more general results with fair value and supportive examples are provided.

In this article, we discuss the de Rham cohomology class for bislant submanifolds in nearly trans-Sasakian manifolds. Moreover, we give a classification of warped product bislant submanifolds in nearly trans-Sasakian manifolds with some nontrivial examples in the support. Next, it is of great interest to prove that there does not exist any doubly warped product bislant submanifolds other than warped product bislant submanifolds in nearly trans-Sasakian manifolds. Some immediate consequences are also obtained.

AbstractThe object of the present paper is to study the notion of quasi-bi-slant submanifolds of almost contact metric manifolds as a generalization of slant, semi-slant, hemi-slant, bi-slant, and quasi-hemi-slant submanifolds. We study and characterize quasi-bi-slant submanifolds of Sasakian manifolds and provide non-trivial examples to signify that the structure presented in this paper is valid. Furthermore, the integrability of distributions and geometry of foliations are researched. Moreover, we characterize quasi-bi-slant submanifolds with parallel canonical structures.
