The Coffeeconomics index is an alternative index to evaluate the Coffee market structure behaviour from a microeconomic and macroeconomic perspective. Hence, the coffee market structure is formed by the interaction of four large players such as coffee producers (small, cooperatives, and large), coffee brokers, coffee sellers (large, medium, and small), and coffee consumers. The main objective is to evaluate the vulnerabilities of the coffee market structure as a whole through the application of the National Coffee Production Function (NCP-Function). Finally, we calculate the NCP-Function to evaluate the risk and vulnerability of the coffee market structure of Guatemala between 1928 and 2018 respectively.

<div class=""abs_img""><img src=""[disp_template_path]/JRM/abst-image/00260005/04.jpg"" width=""300"" />Algorithm flow chart
We propose a nonmonotone QP-free infeasible method for inequality-constrained nonlinear optimization problems based on a 3-1 piecewise linear NCP function. This nonmonotone QP-free infeasible method is iterative and is based on nonsmooth reformulation of KKT first-order optimality conditions. It does not use a penalty function or a filter in nonmonotone line searches. This algorithm solves only two systems of linear equations with the same nonsingular coefficient matrix, and is implementable and globally convergent without a linear independence constraint qualification or a strict complementarity condition. Preliminary numerical results are presented.

This paper, a new class of augmented Lagrange functions with the new NCP function is proposed for the minimization of a smooth function subject to inequality constraints. Under some conditions, we prove of the equivalences of the KKT point and local point and globe point between primal constrained nonlinear programming problem and the new unconstrained problem. By the character of augmented Lagrange function, the algorithm which uses alternating direction method is constructed and proved convergence.
