Myelomeningocele is the most common and severe congenital malformation of the central nervous system, associated with substantial neurological morbidity, devastating lifelong medical disability and increased mortality. This review focuses on the perioperative anesthesia considerations of postnatal correction of myelomeningocele. This contains 3 tables, and 34 references.
