The aim of this article is to analyse the changes that took place in the cultural landscape of the province through the construction of the five villages promoted by the Instituto Nacional de Colonización (INC) of Albacete. The main point of our research is to value and disseminate the avant-garde experimentation in its mixture with the vernacular in this type of villages, and to analyse the different artistic disciplines that were involved in their construction.

This article tries to elucidate the historical circumstances of the text Capitulación, asiento y concordia acordada por el marqués de Villena con los vecinos de San Juan de Villamalea, which has been transmitted from an indirect tradition in two apograph manuscripts kept in the Municipal Archive of Villamalea (Albacete) and in the Historical Archive of the Nobility (Toledo).

This research is devoted to the recovery of the musical artistic heritage in the recent history of the city of Albacete. Thus, this paper sought to find out which were the most outstanding female figures in the city during the second half of the 20th century; specifically, the soprano singers. To this end, a series of relevant female singers has been selected. These singers were born in Albacete or have developed their professional career in this city, contributing with their careers in different professional fields to maintain and increase the musical legacy of Albacete.

In this article, the results of the field season 2020 excavation in La Peña del Castillo (Peñas de San Pedro, Albacete) are presented. It is a site with a long and discontinuous time frame from the Late Bronze Age to the 19th century. The archaeological activities project aims to know the entity of the enclave and the different settlement patterns throughout its occupation.
