Behavior of caring for babies with low birth weight (LBW) is a reaction or response to the condition of LBW babies which is divided into three domains, namely knowledge, attitudes and actions. Good behavior of mothers in caring for infants with LBW will have an impact on reducing mortality and morbidity rates for infants and toddlers. Descriptive research was conducted with the aim of knowing the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of mothers in caring for LBW babies at home. The sample in this study were 30 mothers who had LBW babies aged 1 year, residing in Medan and had been taking care of them at home. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the mother's behavior in caring for LBW babies at home for the majority knowledge domain was good (100%), for the attitude domain the majority is positive (100%) and for the action domain the majority is good (100%). It is concluded that knowledge, attitudes, actions in this study are in line with behavioral theory. It is recommended to conduct research by exploring the factors that support the formation of a good level of knowledge, positive attitudes and good actions.

Breast cancer arises as a result of abnormal cells forming in the breast at an uncontrolled and irregular rate. There are several types of treatment for breast cancer patients and one of them is chemotherapy. The frequency of chemotherapy can cause several effects that can worsen the patient's functional status. Functional status is an ability to perform daily tasks that include work, self-care, and maintenance of family or social roles. This study aims to identify ADL compliance in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This study used a descriptive design, the sample was taken using a non-probability sampling method, namely accidental sampling and the instrument used was a questionnaire compiled using a Likert scale. The reliability test of this study used a Cronbach Alpha of 0.917. Data collection was carried out from September 2015 to August 2016. The description of ADL fulfillment of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy was described to determine the frequency and percentage. The results showed that the fulfillment of ADL in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy was independent (20 people, 54.1%), partial dependence (10 people, 27%), and total dependence (7 people, 18.9%). It can be concluded that most breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy can carry out their Activity Daily Living with an independent level of ability.
