AbstractWe give some general results concerning continuity of measurable homomorphisms of topological groups. As a consequence we show that a Christensen measurable homomorphism of a Polish abelian group into a locally compact topological group is continuous. We also obtain similar results for the universally measurable homomorphisms and the homomorphisms that have the Baire property.

AbstractIn this paper, we introduce a two-point boundary value problem for a finite fractional difference equation with a perturbation term. By applying spectral theory, an associated Green’s function is constructed as a series of functions and some of its properties are obtained. Under suitable conditions on the nonlinear part of the equation, some existence and uniqueness results are deduced.

Abstract This paper contains some results connected with topologies generated by lower and semi-lower density operators. We show that in some measurable spaces (𝑋, 𝑆, 𝐽) there exists a semi-lower density operator which does not generate a topology. We investigate some properties of nowhere dense sets, meager sets and σ-algebras of sets having the Baire property, associated with the topology generated by a semi-lower density operator.

Starting from the introduction of the management of scientific research project, and then gives a detailed description based on J2EE architecture, the lightweight composite framework involving Spring, Struts and iBATIS and an iterative method is employed in project management. With a series of functions such as application, recommendation, processing, approval, assessment and management of scientific research project and so on, the system has the characteristics of easy maintenance, dynamic propagation and strong expansibility. Finally the safety of the system is discussed from two perspectives, namely its design and environment. Years’ of application in the management of scientific research project in Gansu Province has proved its good stability, fast response and high safety.
