The main problems of the wave dynamics of flexible filaments and elastic membranes are solved. The reliability of the numerical algorithm proposed by the authors for calculating the elastic deformation of pneumatic structures under dynamic loading is confirmed when compared with the results of known studies obtained by analytical and numerical methods.

In the approach spans of Quanzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, these standard spans are 50m or 70m , width is 20.05m.The approach spans have been built by using short Line segments precast and erection method. This is the first application in the cross sea bridges. According to characteristics of this project, the research on prefabrication and erection technology of wide box girders has been carried out to solve the technical problems in the process of construction. The research show that: 1)In precasting process , the vertical deformation of wide box girder is very small under dead load and temperature load etc. so the influence of prefabrication and erection accuracy can be ignored; 2)The temporary anchor using prestressed steel strand better than planished steel; 3) When using epoxy gasket to adjust geometric line shape, the thickness of cemented layer has a great influence on the linear adjustment;4)The epoxy gasket and bridge erecting machine should be used together, Alignment adjustmen could obtain satisfactory results.

The shear resistant with SWR (steel wire rope) external prestressing is a kind of new type of reinforcement technique. The advantages of the method are ideal reinforcement effect, durability, and convenient construction. So the method has been paid attention by more and more scientists and technical workers. Through the experiment of 1 basic beam and 3 strengthened beams which are in different dead load levels, the influence of damage degree of original beams and the dead load level of strengthened beams are analyzed. The reduction coefficient values of shear capacity under different dead load level are researched. The research is shown that: with the dead load level increasing, the improve degree of shear capacity of strengthened concrete beams is smaller. The mathematical model is established, which is about dead load level and reduction coefficient of shear capacity of strengthened concrete beams. The result is to take 0.75 as the reduction coefficient of shear capacity. The value is reasonable in calculating the shear bearing capacity of strengthened beams under dead load.

SummaryBifurcation from a finitely deformed circular cylindrical configuration of a rotating circular cylindrical elastic membrane is examined. It is found (for a physically realistic choice of elastic strain-energy function) that the angular speed attains a maximum followed by a minimum relative to the increasing radius of the cylinder for either a fixed axial extension or fixed axial force.At fixed axial extension (a) a prismatic mode of bifurcation (in which the cross-section of the cylinder becomes uniformly non-circular) may occur at a maximum of the angular speed provided the end conditions on the cylinder allow this; (b) axisyim-metric modes may occur before, at or after the angular speed maximum depending on the length of the cylinder and the magnitude of the axial extension; (c) an asymmetric or ‘wobble’ mode is always possible before either (a) or (b) as the angular speed increases from zero for any length of cylinder or axial extension. Moreover, ‘wobble’ occurs at lower angular speeds for longer cylinders.At fixed axial force the results are similar to (a), (b) and (c) except that an axisym-metric mode necessarily occurs between the turning points of the angular speed.
