Many studies in new product development (NPD) single out the use of information (especially market information) as a key predictor of NPD performance, but knowledge is lacking about what type of information is needed in each phase of the NDP process to enable high NPD performance. Based on a literature review and a pilot case study, this article increases the understanding of managing information in NPD. It is argued that the capability of managing information consists of three components: acquiring, sharing, and using information. By focusing on three different phases of the NPD process, 11 propositions regarding which information, information sources and means of cross-functional integration patterns that are most important to high NPD performance have been derived in each respective phase. In addition, the article also discusses antecedents and consequences of managing information. The article concludes with implications for managers, identifies limitations and proposes an agenda for further research into this area.

Conspiracy beliefs are epistemically suspect beliefs that can have detrimental consequences. Despite its importance, conspiracy belief research currently lacks a unified, comprehensive framework. Here we explain conspiracy beliefs through separate but highly interconnected clusters of low levels of epistemic resources (comprehensive, accessible information) combined with high levels of epistemic need (a context of uncertainty) and low levels of socio-existential resources (trust) combined with high levels of socio-existential needs (a context of perceived threat). Taking COVID-19 conspiracy beliefs as a case study, we demonstrate that the dual pathway model is able to efficaciously explain the antecedents and consequences of these beliefs. We encourage future conspiracy research to take both the epistemic and socio-existential pathways into account, as well as their interactions.

As the increasing population is much concerned about beauty, so several cosmetic products are also increasing in the market. Switrais not only a pathological but also a very serious sociological problem. It can be compared with vitiligo in contemporary science having a prevalence of 0.25% in India. In Ayurveda, it is explained along with kustha roga1, but it is not explained under Mahakustha & kshudrakustha. In a conventional system of medicine, there is no perfect aetiology and treatment for vitiligo. But in Ayurveda, many lines of treatment are explained like shodhana & shamanaas. As it may be autoimmune & heredity also takes a long time to treat, so the patient needs more patience for treatment. After 10 months of treatment with proper follow up this case shows up to 90% cure of switra through Ayurveda that too only with Shamana Aushadha. Keywords- switra, a case study on switra, shamanaaushadhis
