With the depletion of fossil energy and the popularity of renewable energy, a comprehensive energy system with the goal of improving system energy efficiency and consuming renewable energy is booming. Based on the combined heat, power, and heat generation, this paper builds a comprehensive energy system operation optimization model in conjunction with ground source heat pumps. It aims to find the optimal operation strategy based on the actual situation of the park’s load, equipment capacity, and energy prices. Using the linear programming method, a mathematical model with the best economic efficiency of the integrated energy system is established, the optimal operation strategy for a typical day is analyzed, and the annual operation is simulated. Finally, it compares with conventional energy supply methods and analyzes the contribution to the consumption of renewable energy.

The reliability analysis method and risk assessment model for the traditional single network no longer meet the requirements of the risk analysis of coupled systems. This paper establishes a risk assessment system of electric-gas integrated energy system (EGIES) considering the risk security of components. According to the mathematical model of each component, the EGIES steady state analysis model considering the operation constraints is established to analyze the operation status of each component. Then the EGIES component accident set is established to simulate the accident consequences caused by the failure of each component to EGIES. Furthermore, EGIES risk assessment system is constructed to identify the vulnerability of EGIES components. Finally, the risk assessment of IEEE14-NG15 system is carried out. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Aiming at the optimal configuration of a regional integrated energy system (IES), this paper proposes an energy-conversion interface (ECI) model that simplifies the complex multienergy network into a multi-input–multioutput dual-port network, consequently achieving the energy-coupling relationship between the energy-supply side and the demand side. An optimized configuration model of the ECI was constructed by considering economic performance, such as device-installation cost, operation and maintenance cost, and environmental cost, as well as energy-saving performance, such as energy-utilization efficiency. Then, the ECI optimal-configuration model was established by taking a campus in northern China as an example. To verify the validity of the model, device planning quantity and daily energy scheduling of the integrated energy system of the campus were obtained by solving the model with the particle-swarm optimization method. Finally, sensitivity analysis of the system to energy prices and the reweight approach for the targets are also given in this paper, providing a decision-making basis for system planning.

In an electric-gas integrated energy system that considers the coupling conditions between systems, there is energy transaction between the systems. So the node energy price setting method and market clearing strategy of the coupled system are worth studying. First of all, this paper establishes a market clearing model for electricity / gas subsystems and a method for solving node energy prices. Then, a market clearing model of the electrical coupling system is established based on this. Finally, an example to verify the effectiveness of the nodal energy price formulation method and the market clearing model is given.
