ABSTRACTWe report here the whole-genome sequence ofNostoc cycadaestrain WK-1, which was isolated from cyanobacterial colonies growing in the coralloid roots of the gymnospermCycas revoluta. It can provide valuable resources to study the mutualistic relationships and the syntrophic metabolisms between the cyanobacterial symbiont and the host plant,C. revoluta.

ABSTRACT We report here the complete genome sequence of Mesorhizobium ciceri bv. biserrulae strain WSM1497, the efficient nitrogen-fixing microsymbiont and commercial inoculant in Australia of the forage legume Biserrula pelecinus. The genome consists of 7.2 Mb distributed across a single chromosome (6.67 Mb) and a single plasmid (0.53 Mb).

Sinorhizobium phage ΦM6 infects the nitrogen-fixing rhizobial bacterium Sinorhizobium meliloti. ΦM6 most closely resembles marine phages, such as Puniceispirillum phage HMO-2011, rather than previously sequenced rhizobial phages.

ABSTRACT Sphingobium sp. strain RSMS was described earlier as an efficient degrader of tributyl phosphate, an organic pollutant. This report describes the generation and annotation of the genome sequence of Sphingobium sp. strain RSMS, which will facilitate future studies to identify genetic elements responsible for the degradation of tributyl phosphate.
