Pulse loading of diffusion couples leads to the formation of the broad metastable solid solutions. Under higher temperatures, combined with high deformation rates, intermetallics also can form. Possible mechanisms of this phenomenon are discussed. Formation of nanostructure under uniaxial compression/decompression (observed in MD simulations) seems to be one of the possibilities.

The investigation results of the processes of phase formation in barium niobate, strontium, and their solid solutions in the conditions of the variability of the thermodynamic background are presented. The formation of a grain landscape and dielectric properties (including relaxation phenomena) in the solid solutions of strontium niobate and their solid solutions and the establishment of regularities in the formation of radio-absorbing properties in them are studied.

Influence of BiFeO3 (BF) on phase formation, unit cell parameters, microstructure, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of solid solutions close to the morphotropic phase boundary in the (Na[Formula: see text]Bi[Formula: see text]TiO3–(K[Formula: see text]Na[Formula: see text]NbO3 system additionally modified by the low-melting KCl additives has been studied. The formation of pure perovskite structure samples decrease in the unit cell parameters and increase in the [Formula: see text] value stimulated by the BF addition have been revealed. It was proved that modification of compositions by small amounts of the BF and KCl additives leads to improvement of dielectric parameters.
