The paper presents the results of comparative studies of the flame-retardant effectiveness of impregnating compounds based on a phosphor-containing oligomer and dimethylphosphite. It is shown that phosphorus-containing impregnating compounds increase the resistance to thermal-oxidative degradation, as well as the fire resistance of wood.
