This report presents a case in which two successive pregnancies were complicated by the development of multiple chorioangiomas. The first infant was stillborn, but of normal term birth weight. The second infant had a birth weight of 1,800 gm at term. The neonatal course in the second infant was complicated by edema, hyponatremia, and hypoproteinemia. The possible relationship between these neonatal complications and the placental tumor is discussed.
