In this article, we discuss a new smart alternating group explicit method based on off-step discretization for the solution of time dependent viscous Burgers' equation in rectangular coordinates. The convergence analysis for the new iteration method is discussed in details. We compared the results of Burgers' equation obtained by using the proposed iterative method with the results obtained by other iterative methods to demonstrate computationally the efficiency of the proposed method.

The aim of this paper is to characterize of the measures of entropies without probability or fuzzy measure for compositive fuzzy partitions, taking into account the so-called locality property. We propose a system of functional equations, whose solutions give some forms of entropies without probability or fuzzy measures.

In this paper we investigate the existence and uniqueness of common fixed point theorems for certain contractive type of mappings. As an application the existence and uniqueness of common solutions for a system of functional equations arising in dynamic programming are discuss by using the our results.

A new iterative method introduced by Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari (2006) (DJ Method) is an efficient technique to solve nonlinear functional equations. In the present paper, sufficiency conditions for convergence of DJM have been presented. Further equivalence of DJM and Adomian decomposition method is established.
