The title compound, C13H21NO7{systematic name: (3aR,5S,6R,6aR)-5-[(R)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]-2,2-dimethyl-6-(nitromethyl)tetrahydrofuro[2,3-d][1,3]dioxole}, consists of a substituted 2,2-dimethyltetrahydrofuro[2,3-d][1,3]dioxolane skeleton. The furanose ringAadopts aoT4conformation. The fused dioxolane ringBand the substituent dioxolane ringCalso have twisted conformations. There are no strong hydrogen bonds in the crystal structure: only weak C—H...O contacts are present, which link the molecules to form a three-dimensional structure.

In the title compound, [FeIr(C5H5)(C20H14N3)Cl3]·2CH3CN, the central IrIIIatom is sixfold coordinated by three chloride ligands and three terpyridine N atoms in a slightly distorted octahedral fashion. The terpyridine ligand is functionalized at the 4′-position with a ferrocenyl group, the latter being in an eclipsed conformation. In the crystal, molecules are stacked in rows parallel to [001], with the acetonitrile solvent molecules situated between the rows. An extensive network of intra- and intermolecular C—H...Cl interactions is present, stabilizing the three-dimensional structure.

In the title compound, [Co(C10H8N2)3](C9H5N4O)2, the tris(2,2′-bipyridine)cobalt(II) dication lies across a twofold rotation axes in the space group C2/c. The N atoms of the three bipyridine ligands form a distorted octahedron around the cobalt ion. All the N atoms of the polynitrile 1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-ethoxypropenide anions participate in C—H...N hydrogen bonds ensuring crystal cohesion and forming a three-dimensional structure. The structure is further stabilized by C—H...π(cation) and anion...π(cation) interactions.

In the title compound, C7H8N4S, the non-H atoms of the pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine ring system and the methylsulfanyl group lie on a crystallographic mirror plane. In the crystal, molecules are linkedviaa number of π–π interactions [centroid–centroid distances vary from 3.452 (7) to 3.6062 (8) Å], forming a three-dimensional structure.

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C7H7N2+·I−, the cations form inversion-related dimersviaweak pairwise C—H...N hydrogen bonds. In the dimers, the pyridinium rings are parallel to one another with their mean planes separated by a normal distance ofca0.28 Å. Weak C—H...N interactions between adjacent dimers generate a layer lying parallel to (10-1). The remaining H atoms form C—H...I interactions, which link the layers into a three-dimensional structure.
