The explosion of plastic-based waste (polymer) in the environment, as a result of its excessive use, so that this phenomenon causes damage to environmental ecosystems, water absorption is not optimal causes flooding, and polluting nutrients in the soil. Plastic is a polymer compound composed of the main elements, namely carbon and hydrogen. The best results in this study by using this tool have a physical appearance: yellow like premium fuel type "1.0" (color test results using the ASTM D1500 method), very pungent smelling liquid, thicker when compared to premium fuel types. And has specifications: Density value of 786.4 kg/m3, Sulfur Content 0.003% m/m, water content 282 ppm, CCI 53.4.

Soil salinization and alkalization greatly restrict crop growth and yield. In this study, NaCl (8 g kg−1) and Na2CO3 (8 g kg−1) were used to create saline stress and alkaline stress on cotton in pot cultivation in the field, and organic polymer compound material (OPCM) and stem girdling were applied before cotton sowing and at flowering and boll-forming stage, respectively, aiming to determine the effects of OPCM on K+ and Na+ absorption and transport and physiological characteristics of cotton leaf and root. The results showed that after applying the OPCM, the Na+ content in leaf of cotton under saline stress and alkaline stress were decreased by 7.72 and 6.49%, respectively, the K+/Na+ ratio in leaf were increased by 5.65 and 19.10%, respectively, the Na+ content in root were decreased by 9.57 and 0.53%, respectively, the K+/Na+ ratio in root were increased by 65.77 and 55.84%, respectively, and the transport coefficients of K+ and Na+ from leaf to root were increased by 39.59 and 21.38%, respectively. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and peroxidase (POD), and the relative electrical conductivity (REC) in cotton leaf were significantly increased, while the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) was decreased; but the changes in those in root were not significant. The boll weights were increased by 11.40 and 13.37%, respectively, compared with those for the control. After stem girdling, the application of OPCM still promoted the ion transport of cotton organs; moreover, the CAT activity in root was increased by 25.09% under saline stress, and the SOD activity in leaf and CAT in root were increased by 42.22 and 6.91%, respectively under alkaline stress. Therefore, OPCM can significantly change the transport of K+ and Na+ to maintain the K+ and Na+ homeostasis in leaf and root, and regulate physiological and biochemical indicators to alleviate the stress-induced damage. Besides, the regulation effect of OPCM on saline stress was better than that on alkaline stress.

The principal objective of incorporating pigments in the polymer is to introduce color either for aesthetic reasons or for the functional requirements. The enhancement of extrusion process parameters is necessary for the proper dispersion of pigment in the polymer. In the study presented three influential processing parameters during extrusion of polymer compound are speed, temperature and feed rate. The experimental design software with Box Behnken (BBD) methodology is being utilized for the optimization. The optimized model and experimental data exceeds the analytical examination making the formulation of model crucial. Also, it was found that the extrusion parameters have strong impact on color characteristics DL, Da and Db which is determined through the analysis of variance (ANOVA). Moreover, specific mechanical energy was calculated for the experimental runs and it was revealed that the specific energy decreases with increase in feed rate.

Abstract The article deals with the issues that allow creating conditions that exclude the formation of abrasive agglomerations in the process of applying a polymer coating in installations with a fluidized bed. The authors pay attention to the stages of agglomeration of the abrasive in the fluidized bed, as well as possible situations that arise when one particle collides with another. The problem of agglomeration development in the installation chamber is relevant, as it directly affects the quality of the coating, its uniformity. In addition, the critical size of the agglomerations will stop the coating process and lead to large material losses. The research carried out in the article on the process of obtaining a new effective abrasive material for waterjet cutting makes it possible to increase the cutting capabilities of a water jet.

Experiments were carried out to determine the radiation resistance of a bitumen compound produced based on genuine cubic residue from the Kalinin NPP using bitumen grades BND 60/90 and BND 90/130, polymer compounds based on spent ion exchange resins and spent inorganic sorbents. It was found that at an irradiation dose of 1·106 Gy, the volume of the bitumen compound increases to no more than 10 vol. %, which complies with the NP-019-15 requirements. The polymer compound based on spent ion-exchange resins from the testing of a pilot plant for resin conditioning directly in a disposal container by dewatering and impregnation with an epoxy binder, meets the
