The article is devoted to the study of the features of the use and provision of methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of human capital in innovative companies. Quantitative and qualitative types of methods are considered, their influence in the evaluation of human capital is also characterized. A number of examples of modern international practice of personnel assessment methods are given. As a result of the effective application of human resources assessment, it was possible to determine the possibilities of its use for the improvement of innovative companies.
