The projector can bring students together to sing holiday classics, to connect with users from across the globe to share music and cultures, or even to create unique backgrounds for performances. Each activity has objectives and assessments, and takes the reader step-by-step through experience so he or she can discover ways to turn a classic tool into a new digital resource.

Background: The concept of evaluating bioequivalence has changed over a period of time. Currently, the Average Bioequivalence approach (ABE) is the gold standard tool for the evaluation of generics. Of late, many debates had arisen about employing ABE approach for the appraisal of all drug categories. This review aims to examine the limitations of ABE approach and the significances of Population Bioequivalence (PBE) and Individual Bioequivalence (IBE) approach, current regulatory thinking for assessing different categories of the drug, whether they are adequately assessed, and the evaluation is in the right direction. Methods: We carried out an organized search of bibliographic databases for peer-reviewed research literatures, regulatory recommendations, guidance documents using a focused review question and eligibility criteria. The standard tools were used to appraise the quality of retrieved documents and to make sure the authenticity of the data. Results: In total 73 references were used in the review, the majority of the references (guidance documents) were from the different regulatory agencies and product-specific guidance. There were 29 product-specific guidance from USFDA and EMA. The limitations of the ABE approach were discussed in detail along with the significances of Population Bioequivalence (PBE) approach and Individual Bioequivalence (IBE) approaches. Conclusion: It is apparent from the review that IBE approach is a precise method for evaluating the drugs as it answers drug interchangeability (prescribability and switchability). IBE approach is followed by PBE approach and ABE approach for the evaluation of different categories of drugs in terms of precision.

AbstractThis study provides an application of dynamic time warping algorithm with a new window constraint to assess consumer expectations’ information content regarding current and future inflation. Our study’s contribution is the novel application of DTW for testing expectations’ forward-lookingness. Additionally, we modify the algorithm to adjust it for a specific question on the information content of our data. The DTW overcomes constraints of the standard tool that examines forward-lookingness: DTW does not impose assumptions on time series properties. In empirical study we cover seven European counties and compare the DTW outcomes with the results of previous studies in these economies using a standard methodology. The research period covers 2001 to mid-2018. Application of DTW provides information on the degree of expectations’ forward-lookingness. The result, after standardization, are similar to the standard parameters of hybrid specification of expectations. Moreover, the rankings of most forward-looking consumers are replicated. Our results confirm the economic intuition, and they do not contradict previous studies.

AbstractKey messageGenomic prediction with special weight of major genes is a valuable tool to populate bio-digital resource centers.AbstractPhenotypic information of crop genetic resources is a prerequisite for an informed selection that aims to broaden the genetic base of the elite breeding pools. We investigated the potential of genomic prediction based on historical screening data of plant responses against theBarley yellow mosaic virusesfor populating the bio-digital resource center of barley. Our study includes dense marker data for 3838 accessions of winter barley, and historical screening data of 1751 accessions forBarley yellow mosaic virus(BaYMV) and of 1771 accessions forBarley mild mosaic virus(BaMMV). Linear mixed models were fitted by considering combinations for the effects of genotypes, years, and locations. The best linear unbiased estimations displayed a broad spectrum of plant responses against BaYMV and BaMMV. Prediction abilities, computed as correlations between predictions and observed phenotypes of accessions, were low for the marker-assisted selection approach amounting to 0.42. In contrast, prediction abilities of genomic best linear unbiased predictions were high, with values of 0.62 for BaYMV and 0.64 for BaMMV. Prediction abilities of genomic prediction were improved by up to ~ 5% using W-BLUP, in which more weight is given to markers with significant major effects found by association mapping. Our results outline the utility of historical screening data and W-BLUP model to predict the performance of the non-phenotyped individuals in genebank collections. The presented strategy can be considered as part of the different approaches used in genebank genomics to valorize genetic resources for their usage in disease resistance breeding and research.

Abstract The relationships that exist between the fundamental drivers of our physical, social and economic environments and the immediate or eventual impacts these environments or “places” have on population health and inequalities are well documented. Successfully empowering communities to positively influence and help shape the decisions that impact on current and future living environments is a fundamental driver of health and well-being. The Place Standard Tool is a flexible product that translates complex public health and place making theory into a simple tool that supports communities, organisations and businesses to work together and identify both the assets of a place and areas deemed priority for improvement albeit within places that are well-established, undergoing change, or still being planned. The tool consists of 14 easy to understand questions or dimensions which cover both the physical and social elements of a place. On completion the tool is designed to provide both a quantitative (a score of 1-7 for each theme) and qualitative response through free text. The quantitative scores are displayed on a compass diagram and allow at a glance an immediate understanding of what dimensions of place work well (a score of 7 is the highest) and what areas require improving (a score of 1 is the lowest). Critical to establishing this full picture is ensuring that all ages and populations successfully contribute to the process. International developments continue to proceed at pace. The European Network for WHO Healthy Cities takes interest in spreading the tool to its members, and adaptations of the tool are already available in 14 European countries. These countries include the Netherlands, Denmark, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Greece, Germany and Spain. This workshop aims to bring together current international experience and developments with the tool, and to reflect on transferability, replicability, possible health impacts and equity aspects in terms of participation and data analysis. Another aim is promote availability of the tool more widely and to allow increased awareness and application to assist with the creation of healthy places. The objectives of the workshop are: To outline the connection between place, health and health inequalitiesTo introduce and explain how, where and when to use the Place Standard Tool to support the design of healthy and equitable placesTo enable participants through a variety of case studies explore whether the Place Standard is a suitable tool to use in their particular context which might be at a national, city and or neighbourhood delivery level. This will be achieved through an introduction to the tool and case studies from the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. Time will be provided at the end for discussion. Key messages Knowledge and awareness of a free and practical product to engage with partners, communities and politicians in taking forward an evidence based, and inclusive approach to healthy place design. An opportunity to contribute to and learn from a growing community of experience and expertise in healthy place making.
