The purpose of the article is to study the experience of developing and implementing an informationresource to improve the adaptation of first-year students to study in higher education. The methodology is toapply general scientific methods of analysis, generalization, systematization, and comparison, which allowedto develop of a hierarchical structure of the process of adaptation of first-year students in the educationaland social environment of higher education to design and fill information resources for student interactionwith departments university (for example, Lviv Polytechnic National University). The scientific novelty is theexpansion of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create an information resource that will help studentsfind the necessary and useful information to facilitate its adaptation. Conclusions. Creating an interactiveinformation space for the adaptation of first-year students provides an opportunity to ensure the successfuladaptation of students to new challenges in their lives. The management of higher education institutions isinterested in the fastest possible educational, scientific, creative, sports, and social adaptation of students. The proposed hierarchical structure will determine the main directions of adaptation of students dependingon the peculiarities of the organization of student life in higher education. Each direction of adaptationcontains its own sub-goals, which detail the activities in this direction. Achieving the mentioned sub-goals isensured by appropriate means and recommendations. The offered information resource will allow to carry outinformation support of the student in the course of its adaptation. This resource will greatly simplify the searchfor the necessary information for educational, scientific, creative, and social activities of the student, help inorganizing independent work, and provide feedback to the first-year student with the structural units of highereducation. Keywords: adaptation, an adaptation of freshmen, an institution of higher education, informationeducational space, social adaptation, psychological adaptation, freshmen.

One of the key strategic directions of the long-term program for the development of the oil and gas industry is the development of the resource base, including through the acquisition of new licenses at auctions and tenders held by Russian government agencies. To make a prompt decision to purchase a license area, it is necessary to carry out an objective technical and economic assessment. Official resources contain a minimum of initial data for making a decision, which led to the need to create a unified information system for assessing subsoil plots, accumulating information on new unallocated plots. The article gives valuable information about the main capabilities of the unique information resource, which was developed by specialists of Tyumen Petroleum Scientific Center LLC. This information resource is intended to provide the Company's specialists with a tool for rapid assessment of subsurface areas based on complex parameters of geology, development, infrastructure and economics in order to make a decision on the feasibility of acquiring an asset.

BACKGROUND The use of drug information is increasing as the role of pharmacists expands. However, pharmacists spend a huge amount of time collecting drug information, and there has not been any drug information resource website that aims to improve the efficiency of community pharmacists with regards to drug information (DI) operations. OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of the drug information resources website (SAGASU-DI). METHODS SAGASU-DI articles were created based on inquiries to clinical pharmacists. The usage statistics of the SAGASU-DI were monitored using Google Analytics between May and July 2021. In addition, a pop-up questionnaire was used to evaluate the usefulness of the SAGASU-DI in answering the questions of viewers. RESULTS Statistics showed that our website had 25,447 users and 33,000 page views, with 29 seconds on average. Visitors accessed the website through desktop (51.9%) and mobile (44.3%) systems. Community pharmacists accounted for 40.2% of the visitors. The pop-up questionnaire showed that 23.2% of the viewers were satisfied with our website, and 1.5% of the viewers were not. Although 65.1% of the viewers refused to answer the questionnaire, the average percentage of viewers who were satisfied with the site was 94.1%. CONCLUSIONS The SAGASU-DI was found to be a valuable resource website for DI services, mainly for community pharmacists.

PurposeIn the modern era, libraries confront significant service challenges. Some challenges are linked to information resource management which includes direct availability of information for immediate decision making. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a recent technological shift that library personnel should be aware of because it has the potential to enhance information resource management. The purpose of the research is to highlight the willingness to adopt IoT technology in libraries.Design/methodology/approachThis study uses a quantitative research design in which a survey of public sector universities in Nanjing, China, is conducted to investigate the determinants of IoT adoption intention in libraries. A total of 389 responses were captured from experienced library personnel. The literature on technology adoption is then used to formulate quantitative theories. For data analysis, partial least squares structural equation modeling using SmartPLS.FindingsThe research highlights the various success factors which support the IoT service adoption process. It is concluded that IoT augmented services in academic libraries must be supported through robust management practices and effective utilization of technological resources. Many libraries have made substantial modifications to their structure in terms of technology and design to satisfy the demands of patrons.Originality/valueThis is an empirical paper that looks at IoT adoption intention in libraries using a quantitative approach through surveying library personnel. The library personnel can aid in the understanding of the motivations behind technology adoption in libraries, particularly of IoT services that may bring about advances in the libraries' capability to provide information access services.
