Effective risk communication is essential to manage outbreaks; consequently, news and figures about COVID-19 have become a constant need since the beginning of 2020. In this sense, infographics are a powerful tool for transmitting this type of information. This work analyzes the first year of the pandemic through the infographics published by El País Digitalto evaluate their use in communicating this health crisis. It is through content analysis that the topics and approaches of the articles, the weight of the infographics with respect to the text, the types and subtypes of infographics used, and their degrees and types of interaction, as well as the evolution of these variables throughout of the research period are studied. The results determine that the content typical of the period analyzed is a data-based thematic article, approached from an analytical / interpretive approach. Infographics and text share protagonism, and line graphs without any type of interactivity are included.

This study aims to determine the effect of capital intensity, company characteristics, and disclosure of corporate social responsibility on tax avoidance with leverage as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling method in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. The number of samples used was 82 companies. The method of analysis of this study is multiple linear regression using eviews 9. The results showed that the intensity of capital had a positive and significant effect on tax avoidance, the company's characteristics  had a negative and significant effect on tax avoidance, the disclosure of corporate social responsibility had a positive effect and not significant impact on tax avoidance. Leverage is able to moderate the influence of capital intensity on tax avoidance, leverage is able to moderate the effect of corporate characteristics on tax avoidance while leverage is not a variable that is able to moderate the disclosure effect of corporate social responsibility on tax avoidance. Finally, the authors suggest that tax avoidance considerations can be used other than those used by researchers. For the calculation of capital intensity, company characteristics, and disclosure of CSR can use other proxy proxies other than those used by researchers. And for the next researcher, it is expected to be able to add variables related to the variables affected, and extend the research period.

The article presents data on the breed and seasonal characteristics of the synthesis of thyroxine and cortisol in dogs of different breeds and cats that do not have a breed. It has been shown that the synthesis of thyroxine in dogs and cats depends on the breed, age and season. The functional activity of the thyroid gland in dogs decreases by 10-12, and in cats by 9-13 years of age. The highest level of thyroxine production throughout the entire research period belongs to the Griffon Petit-Brabancons. The synthesis of cortisol in dogs and cats is stable and does not undergo statistically significant changes. Seasonal dynamics of thyroxine is observed in dogs, but absent in cats. No sea-sonal dependence of cortisol synthesis has been reported in dogs and cats.

This study aims to analyze the stock inventory control of Mie Dzohir's raw materials in Bengkulu. The analytical method used is Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Reorder Point (ROP), Total Inventory Cost (TIC) and Safety Stock (SS). The results showed that to meet the raw material needs of 91,375 kg during the research period, from January 2020 to December 2020 (12 months), the number of economical purchases/EOQ of wheat flour raw materials that had to be made by the Mie Dzohir factory in Bengkulu was as much as 5,372 kg for each order with a purchase frequency of 17 times for a period from January 2020 to December 2020. Reorders or reorder points (ROP) can also be determined, namely reordering should be done when 345 kg of inventory is in warehouse, with a lead time of 1 days so as not to hamper the company's production process. The total inventory cost (TIC) can also be determined, namely the total cost of raw material inventory of Rp. 3.572.188, - therefore, it can save on inventory costs of Rp. 1.051.697,- .Safety stock (SS) of 95 kg which must be in the warehouse, this is intended therefore, there is no shortage of wheat flour raw materials if there is a delay in the delivery of raw materials.

Although remittances have increased rapidly in recent decades, however. most previous studies have been done using micro-level data but there is no article employed data at the macro-level in Asia-Pacific. Our paper tries to fill the empirecal gap related to the impact of remittances on private investment in recipient countries with the panel data of 30 Asia and the Pacific developing countries in the period of 1985 – 2014. The results confirmed that remittances lead to an increase in private investment in these countries but the quantitative analysis showed that this promoting impact is only a quite weak. Further more, our Granger causality test explored that there is only one-way causality from remittance to private investment existing in research period.

This study aimed to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and capital intensity on tax aggressiveness. The population in this study are all companies listed in the IDX during the research period: 2017-2020 and not in the banking sector. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample obtained is as many as 13 companies, with the number of observations being 52. The findings are that there is no significant effect between liquidity, leverage, and capital intensity on tax aggressiveness. At a high level of liquidity, the company can pay off its short-term obligations, including in terms of taxation. The leverage of small or large companies does not affect management to do tax avoidance. Companies with high fixed assets bear an increased tax burden as well. Some companies have set assets whose economic benefits have expired but are not derecognized and for movable assets.
